damn, don't say it like that... lol
That was the 2014 championship celebration after-party![]()

Nobody asked you about Del Negro![]()
Gary Payton II will save the team.
Well that sucks. Haven't been able to watch many games lately but the box scores don't look too good for TP. Hopefully he can work a little magic when we need him in the playoffs.
Going by most other playoff appearances by him, I expect him to go missing when it counts.
Like the 2014 Finals? (leads team in scoring)
Like the 2013 Finals? (G1 shot & G6 sequence)
Like the 2007 Finals? (FMVP)
Last 3 playoff runs:
TP leads Spurs in scoring: 6-0
Another player leads Spurs in scoring: 1-2
ZERO les when Porky has led the team in Win-Share. Great 3rd wheel on a LE team but that's about it.
Hahahaha! You literally have a different advanced stat for every argument. Well done!
1-11 in the only le clincher during that span until garbage time.
#EMPTYstats.
6-7 in the 4th quarter of G5 to clinch another championship. He was making up for the year before when he only put the Spurs up 5 points with 28 seconds. In 2014, he decided to make it 20 to keep a few missed free throws and rebounds from letting another one slip away.
The big three looked fkng awful out there tonight
As if he wasn't 4-21 in Gm 6 before he made a desperation step back 3 he hasn't EVER replicated in his NBA career.#luck
Maybe if he had been getting outscored by Mario Chalmers it wouldn't have come down to players splitting FTs. Not to mention his ass getting blocked when he tried his trademark tunnel vision drives at the end of Gm 6. (PRIME Manu would have finished the job)
All hail to 2014 Patty for blowing open the game to allow Porky to pad his stats, too bad Patty wasn't on the playoff roster in 2013 otherwise a Porky led team would have won a chip.![]()
u are aware that the 2013 and 2014 finals were 5 and 7 games a piece right?
He went 6-7 literally when the game was over and there was no more pressure.
The old Tony isn't the Tony of old. He's not going to blow by GS and torch them in the paint. He still has a move now and then for a big, but he gets stuffed at an alarming rate now, and he's telegraphing his moves. In the past in transition, if the big wasn't back already Tony was going into the paint, he'd make them foul him or stop him and he'd score at a high clip. Now he just waits for everyone and tries to run some telegraphed play. The only thing missing is Tony sticking out his tongue and closing one eye, because he's not in attack mode, he's in "do what Pop says" mode. Again, he has moments, but few and far in between. He's not the 2007 Tony. He won't help much against GS other than making some midrange jumpers.
Lol, a 12 point lead with 10 minutes is not over. We were up 10 at the start of the 4th the year before. If we can lose a 5 point lead in 28 seconds, I think we can lose a 12 point lead in 10 minutes. Come on man, think!
Except he's shooting better than he has in the last few years.
Yes I'm aware...it was a response to the idea that he doesn't show up when it "matters," which is what I posted. In 2007, he was dominant the whole series. In 2014, he led the team in scoring through the whole series. And in 2013, he came through in clutch moments that should have collectively sealed the deal, including his Game 5 performance (should have added that).
No he is not shooting better.. i would say he is shooting wiser.
He lost some of his me-first at ude but he is not 2007 calibre any more.
2007 shouldn't even be mentioned. They played the worst team to ever make the finals and one of the worst backcourt of pgs in finals history. What about the 2003, 2005, 2013, and 2014 finals though![]()
