Wow, I made a joke earlier today that Bonner will outlast Holt, too.
Best owner in basketball. His wife is taking over for him. The timing of this is really weird though.. Is he having serious unknown health issues? I wonder if this has anything to do with Pop missing the last 2 games due to "family issues." Just speculating here, hope I'm wrong.

I saw this earlier & thought it was a joke.
Sort of weird timing, I wonder if there are health concerns?
So wait, by more active role does she mean becoming involved more in running the team? This could be really bad.
Was my initial thought too.
They should just hand over the franchise to Pop.
Can you do the same to the Warriors and staying healthy tbh?
Probably heard the news about Rasual and had enough with those Bonner suckers doing damage control
Spurs don't need an owner that GMs and coaches ala Cuban.
Is there something health-related to Peter relinquishing day-to-day? hopefully his wife keeps the hand-off tradition on basketball operations..
First Rasual, now Peter Holt.. Two Spurs legends gone in one day.
lol I doubt she's going to come in and start demanding changes to RC and Pop's current org.
This just screams of major health issues.
First turning over Holt Cat, now the Spurs.
Damn that sucks.
I'm surprised Bonner wasn't named CEO
Even Peter Holt could not bear the disappointment about not waiving Bonner.
I understand Peter![]()
I think so too. Hope not though...
Nick Moyle @NRMoyle
Rick Pych, president of business operations for SS&E, will serve as #Spurs co-CEO, per the request of Julianna Holt.
Damn, Peter Holt running the team is one of the best things that ever happened to the Spurs. I hope you're wrong about that.![]()
Hopefully not, but you never know...
