dude is gonna be feasting playing with Mills/Manu/Boris
He is a nice pickup especially at 6'7" , but I'm suprised his shot is not blocked more with that akward shot, then again that's probably how he draws his fouls.

To be fair to Coach and Chinook, Butler only needs to make 435 more threes to be right back in that conversation.
Has Kevin Martin actually showed any signs of regression or did Minny just not feel he was part of their future plans?
Enjoy #23 till we retire Devin Brown's jersey.
Should provide some needed 3 pt help with Danny in a slump year.
Wolves went with the youth movement early on. He actually had a 37pt game before he fell in the rotation. Highest a Spur has scored this season is 36 by Lamarcus
deepest roster in Spurs history, arguably, hehe
We are stacked and ready for the Western Conference Finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it just me or does he look Maghrebis?
The same shyt that happened to Stephen Jackson when he was on the Bucks before the Jefferson trade: rotting on the bench b/c he was no longer part of their future plan.
dat ugly Shawn Marion release tho![]()
I'm suss on anyone who picks #23 tbh
Both local and NBA
I am hoping that he can bring some much needed scoring. Green is far too streaky and he is inconsistent inside the arc. This season he has also been inconsistent beyond the arc. The Spurs needed a player that is a threat inside and out. To eliminate Green on offense all it takes is a good closeout to force him to dribble in and the offense stalls. Can't do that against Martin because he can kill you outside and inside.
I had to look the last one up. Austin Daye. Got waived for Reggie Williams. Not a significant upgrade in any way.
Hopefully this reverses that trend.![]()
It's not a Shawn Marion release, it's actually like Curry the way he jumps & releases the ball. It's just that his shooting pocket is his entire body including his chest like Marion.
Just look at their FTs:
Martin shall play
when he rains bombs in the Western Finals, we shall all celebrate
The new big 3? Leonard, Aldridge, Martin?
Don't ge too excited, Martin won't be winning any defensive battles, which is the other side of that coin. I do think Martin is a better player, but "better" is so subjective as to leave a lot of leeway in interpretation. I think that you're right that he's better for us than Butler. But, if a team needed a defensive minded forward, Butler would be better.
I was just kicking the hornet's nest before catching some z's. The Martin/Butler saga won't be a Jimmer thread, but what can, you know?
Last night I dreamed Manu was traded to the Nuggets... to make room for Martin AND keep Butler...
That number... with that name, i have to say it makes for a good lookin jersey.
So when does this dude play? Is he gonna suit up against the Bulls tonight? Bulls are one of the crappier teams without Butler that the Spurs will play in the next few weeks, might as well give him some burn tonight
Is this guy a end of season rental or will he be around for a while?
