I really appreciated Malone as a player in 2004 but as a human I've heard some ty things about the guy.

I dunno...I never have high expectations from celebs and stuff. Its why when I see some of my favorite celebs in person at a restaurant in So Cal I never go up to them because I dont want to ever find out the kind of heads they are.

BTW...wtf is going on with the Broncos? I dont expect to repeat but god damn its like theyre laying down and dying during free agency. Glad we didnt get Brock...dude was highly overrated. I think he got exposed during the Chargers game tbh...Kyle Ortonesque QB
I feel the same way, I don't give a when I see an athlete in person, nor do I expect them to be anything more than just talented athletes..Jordan and Malone are the only guys that I could say I "hate"

And I'm not concerned about Denver, just happy to get the SB, tbh..anything else is whatever..I didn't want Osweiler, he's very mediocre, you could replace his production with virtually anybody and at a much lower price..

    1) Paul Pierce: Guy was just irritating, of a player and killed us in 2008 but he was way too confident for a guy who had essentially done jack most his career. Dude compared himself to Jordan after the finals FFS.
Pierce was just as good or better than Kobe; but yea, he liked to talk.

No he was not. Great player though. But in his era Kobe and Dirk were both better, maybe KG too and obviously Duncan.

To say nothing of the fact that Fisher, Fox, Horry and all those Laker role players were flopping all over the place for calls.

A weird choice for a guy to hate if you are a Laker fan. Vlade played in a big role in the Lakers rebuild pre-Shaq and Kobe. On top of that Vlade allowed the Lakers to get both Shaq and Kobe. I remember at that time when the Lakers traded Vlade it gave them more cap space to throw money at Shaq.
Stop making sbit up, got. Vlade never made much money to begin with which made it easy for us to trade him for a draft pick.

Actually he made good money back then. At the time his 4.7 mil per year salary was pretty high; in today's NBA market it would be equivalent to 10 mil per year. The Lakers having that extra 4 mil in cap space made a huge difference in getting Shaq. But then again I wouldn't expect you to know this stuff since you are not a legit fan.

"That was the best deal in NBA history," Divac told Yahoo Sports. "You got Vlade there in Charlotte and then you were able to sign Shaq because you cleared the salary cap and you got Kobe."

    1. David Robinson - born-loser, fake good guy (whined about his contract towards the end of his career), and an Uncle Tom. Terrible leader who lost a load of HCA playoff series in his prime. His tanking/injury embellishment allowed them to get Duncan though--his winningest move ever.
