What's gone on? A single thread was started calling him out. No worse than any other thread that has been started going at posters whether it's for their takes, actions or welshing. He was treated no differently than anyone else and nothing in the thread was bullying.
People calling him out for his actions is not bullying. There were no physical threats or threats of any kind actually. It was a poster getting made fun of the same as posters having bad basketball takes.
The fact UNT is unversially disliked because of his admitted phobic posting, anti-Semitic posting and now add unapologetic welshing to the mix does not make starting one thread bullying (IMO).
I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about an imaginary scenario in the real world(not on ST) where you are doing the equivalent of harassment. There are "rules" on how to collect a debt.

I don't have many posts, I know, but I've been reading the forum for years now and it's the most active one I'm on among all my sports teams. But, it's also the most poorly monitored one and the exchanges between posters are horrible. " got" this, " got that." It's BS tbh. So, to say this thread is OK because UNT is "getting made fun of the same as other posters" is total garbage reasoning. Have I seen UNT is game/other threads? Yes, IMO he has a bad perspective on his fandom/other things and gives up on his team too quickly. I'm just sticking up for someone that is taking some excessive heat IMO.
Unless I'm personally attacked for some reason and feel obligated to defend myself, this will be the last time I contribute to this counterproductive thread.

If you have been active, you've seen me stick up for the bullied and the trash (in fact UNT was banned after I warned him about his phobic & anti-Semitic slurs). I was alluding to he's not being targeted unfairly as some nice guy who just got caught in the cross hairs.
This isn't some unprovoked attack where people are calling him racial slurs or going at him for personal things. This is about him welshing and nothing more. Not only that, it's really just been focused on that and not even his sh*t posting.
I don't think one thread, especially one where he's coming in unapologetically about it, is that bad IMO. Especially when a few posters legit tried to give some advice about things too.
I'm saying I don't see what is bullying about this thread. No one in a position of power is abusing him and using leverage. He did a crappy thing (in the middle of all the crap he does) and someone started a thread about that specific thing calling him out. It's not like everyone is piling on and abusing him and hating on every aspect of his life in order to get something out of it.
I have no dog in this fight other than trying to help someone that is a part of this community but not bringing anything of value (UNT) and trying to help him see how he's viewed.
As much as you care or don't this is a community. One that has a lot of problems and I stick up for this community and try to right the wrongs I can. If you view this as a community, doing things like spouting racist, phobic and anti-Semitic trash is bad. So is welshing on members.
