Dont bet on it
He drives, picks up his dribble and jumps off one foot like another chuck brick is coming. Just before the other one lands he throws it back out.
When he 1st started this (couple games ago), it caught the Spurs players off guard. Several time Kwa and Aldridge almost got a turnover they were so stunned the pass was coming.
Vs Portland, LMA in particular was anticipating the pass and it worked out great. Pass first mentality from Porker?
16 assists, just one shy of his career record of 17. Championship chances just went up if he and Pop keep doing what they should have been doing since 2008.
Will he continue to act like a true point guard and pass? How long will this last?
i hope not, hes terrible at it..
truth is, he's just an ill dog waiting to get mercy shot.. pop knows it, he knows it. he can't score at will anymore, so he's just a liability.. we have to find a way to win with him somehow
wtf?
Worked great against Portland. Now, as to how well it will work once teams, esp better playoff teams figure out his drives are no longer auto-chuck thus he may kick it back out.....that remains to be seen.
But it's a great new wrinkle. Long overdue.
Didn't you read that bull quote that the got said about LMA? No ing way does he continue to pass. In fact, I expect him to do everything in his power to singlehandedly bury us tonight. The rest of the team will have to play great to overcome his gotry.
Bc Lillard is such a poor defender, Portland was doubling him and he was collapsing the defense. The problem is when he faces better teams and he's not doubled up or getting to the rim.
I hope he do, but not against GS, without Bogut he needs to score so that Curry has to defend him.
Who the F knows what Parker is gonna do. Ask me after the game.
How did Porkys passing -or not- go vs the Hornets?
Well, considering he led the game in assists (more than twice of what any Charlotte player had), I guess we can't put the loss on the main distributer of the game (Parker). Maybe we should put the blame on the highest-scoring Spur...oh wait, that was Parker too. Seems like maybe some other players might want to help out.
He'd have more assists if the Spurs "shooters" would hit their open shots. The Spurs offense is still far from peaking, which I believe is an overall blessing in disguise. That's understandable because LMA completely changed the offense.
In 2014, the Spurs did not look like a championship team in round one. I just hope they find their way by then. Unless the Warriors slump, it looks like the Spurs will have home court against every other team. That's not bad considering how inept the offense has looked at times.
I wonder if Tony leads the league in missed assist opportunities because the assisted missed a layup/open jumper? Is there a stat or site that tracks that?
