It's too bad the Spurs chose this year to flex their muscles. While I expect a win I wouldn't be surprised at a loss. We are too injured to be able to completely blow the Spurs out today. If I was to give a message to the Warriors locker room it would be this: let them have their fun. In fact bait them into thinking they can compete with us. We'll see who is standing at the end, again.

    Ha, ha.

In the end implies Warriors have beaten Spurs in the postseason. Come back and talk when they do. Otherwise, I'd be the Spurs who's standing at the end, again.

Not to kill the momentum but here's a small disclaimer: The Warriors are missing their two best individual defenders in Bogut (if he doesn't play) and Iggy. These are two guy's who can pressure Kawhi and either LaMarcus or Duncan into tough shots. Without those two, we have some players that they can't stop especially if they get hot. Green can guard all our front court players reasonably well but not at the same time. They will have to go small this game w/o Bogut, but without Iggy there will be nobody that can check Kawhi in their small ball line up. My point is that we won't be able to draw much from this game match-up wise, because both their small ball and standard lineups will be much less effective defensively than normal. Don't over blow this game when we win just like when we didn't completely validate their last win because Duncan didn't play.

I really loved how the att center looked with all the green shirts .They should consider doing that more often. The arena desperately needs color

Duncan- still one of the best rim protectors in the NBA - was not mentioned by the press or anyone else in their previous curb-stomping-lay-up drill they laid on us. They will be the first to use their guys being out as an excuse if they lose and the first to beat their chest if they win. No mercy! That being said, this is just a regular season game and won't count count toward the four we will likely need to need against them to get to the Finals. Hope we put it to them!

Yep. The media can say whatever they want. They will ride the wave when we win today as well and so will a lot of Spurs fans. But perspective is always very important.
