This is something that people used to do in the civil movement back in the 60s.
Like I said in the second line, Reck, protesters blocked traffic - they used their cars to block the roads and had to have them towed away.
They broke the law, that isn't protected by the cons ution since it's no longer a peaceful protest.
The most effective protests during that time were the ones that didn't disrupt other people's life. We credit MLK more than MX for a reason.
If you don't disrupt, you won't make your point, and you will be ignored.

That was by far the most disruptive protesting down against Trump in that area.
Perhaps by ing over a person's day, your protesting is LESS effective. Also, the cons ution doesn't cover non-peaceful protest and many would agree breaking laws is not peaceful.

His polling went up, Reck. The protests aren't having the desired effect. I remember CNN pre-vote polling showed Cruz and Trump very close in the Chicago area before protests.
Do you really support protesters disrupting people's everyday life, Reck? Can't we both agree they should find a way to not agitate people who go to Trump rallies because they are either committed to vote for him or curious to see what he is about. But you cant say the protests are a direct correlation to his poll numbers. They happened today for god's sake and the polling had beeing conducted for a few days now. They dont just magically e up because of protests.
You know damn well his supporters will still vote for him no matter what.
This is why I want the primaries to be over with and to finally have him go against Hillary or Sanders. Once he's in the general election, we will see the full effect imo.
I was talking about chicago protests affecting polls, Illinois was projected to be somewhat more compe ive. Perhaps it is just inaccurate polling, but obviously the protests had no effect or a positive one for Trump.

Yeah, it'll be different in primaries. If he has GOP backing it will settle down, if not things will escalate. Election can't come soon enough, tired of all the drama tbh as entertaining as Trump is when he talks and other politicians have to try and be professional

Even Trump's most earnest supporters don't seem to agree with the Republican frontrunner.
“I think Trump is honest," Ralph Lee told Chariton. "We don’t need a Barack in office no more, because he’s a liar. He can’t be direct. Hillary Clinton is a criminal. Bernie Sanders is a socialist. He believes in taking away all our freedoms. He’ll control the way we eat, the way we sleep, the way we live."
"How’s Bernie Sanders gonna control all that?" Chariton asked Lee.
"He’ll find a way," Lee insisted. "Bernie Sanders believes in socialism. Hitler was also a socialist."
"He was a facist," Chariton corrects him. Lee didn't seem to understand the difference.
Another supporter, Robert Wright, said that despite Trump dominating corporate airways with his message, the Republican candidate is actually vicimized.
"I’m for Trump ‘cause he’s being bullied by the government and they need to be together," Wright said. When asked about the frequent counterprotests Trump has encountered, he defended the candidate. "I’m not racist and I don’t think he’s racist,” though Wright admitted he would have liked Trump to denounce the KKK on CNN.
Chariton then turned to policy.
"What is [Trump] going to do for your life?" Chariton asked Ralph Lee.
Lee wondered too.
"I know he doesn’t really get into detail with a lot of his issues and that’s something I don’t agree with a lot," Lee admitted. "But he’s a businessman and he’s made himself a lot of money, so maybe he’ll help America."
Aside from support of the Second Amendment, Lee couldn't find a lot of common ground with the GOP frontrunner. In fact, he doesn’t even agree with Trump’s Muslim ban or his bigoted remarks toward Mexicans, which the #NeverTrump crowd (made up of both Democrats and Republicans) frequently cites as inexcusable.
"There are a lot of white terrorists," Lee told the reporter when asked about Trump's ideas. "Terrorism doesn’t have to do with color. I support him for the most part, but you can’t agree with everybody 100 percent. That’s why I come here, to see what he really has to say, in person.”
