They need him for chemistry next year. The Warriors are better off not breaking up a good thing, keeping him and stay out of the Kevin Durant race

still can't believe some people had the audacity to say that, tbh..

a top 3 player in the league, let's keep an average SF that hasn't improved in years

If we dont keep our pick, probably. Lakers will be more desperate than a 35 year old single woman who feels her bio clock is ticking and she wants kids

He's an important cog. On any other team, he'd be waste.

I don't know. He has pulled the warriors out of some jokes this year when healthy. He usually score at a pretty efficient rate and is a decent defender. Max? Not sure about that. But I do think they would be hard pressed to replace his consistency

His defense is over-rated, even Bonner was able to handle washed up Z-Bo in the post back in 2013. LeBron absolutely destroyed him in the Finals, it was Iggy that was able to contain him.

Harrison Barnes would be fine in a system that used his strengths instead of trying to make him into Klay lite.

His strengths outside of spotup 3 point shooting are a mediocore midrange game and no slashing ability.

Last time he was asked to be a main scoring option as the 6th man he had an abominable season (2013-14).

Why ruin a great thing and get rid of chemistry men like Barnes? Why get certified team cancer KD?

    I'm conflicted ...
he was never the player expected at UNC ...
and I get that he profits a great deal from the Dubs system and Curry's gravitational pull ...
but is also given less opportunity to find rhythm as the 4th sometimes 5th option ...

I think he was crazy to turn down the extension offer State gave... because with Dubs he gets a raise and his flaws are masked.
He signs a max deal outside he will face a huge amount of pressure to perform at a near max level.
If he signs and State matches he will end up traded when the Dubs need to resign Curry to his extension ...and probably to a crap team.

Tough choices for him and state looming ,,,

Either way he needs to improve his game ...wonder if looming free agency is messing with his head ...I think he turned down over 60 million or 70 million
