You can look at it any way you want..but Spurs defense is becoming a problem...

Holding any team to under 80pts is impressive these days..but the Warriors??? You've already stated how great Steph and Klay are at scoring the ball..

What needs to happen for you to be confident?? 30pt blow outs??
Another win against a healthy Warriors, either in SA or Oracle, although the latter would obviously be a much larger confidence boost. But I'll take a home win just the same.

Every game is different. The Spurs play such good team defense, depending on the pace, I don't doubt that some of the playoff games will be in the 80's and 90's (per team). Some of the games may even resemble the 2003 Spurs-Nets' Finals games...just with today's rules. Post-ups and defense are a big part of this team's personality once more.

So you're not confident after holding a team 34pts under their scoring average?

You weren't talking about Pace adjusted numbers. You were just talking about defense and offense got. Go back and read your post.

You always change your argument when you reply to people. got.
I don't care what metrics are used. PPG, PP100, ORTG, FG%, TS%, etc, etc. The Warriors offense is better relative to their defense than the Spurs defense is relative to their offense. Case closed.

Last reply. Now step up with a take. Do you think the Spurs defense vis a vis their offense is good enough to win that series?

It's an easy question, even for re like you.

Nope. I want to see it done one more time. Not necessarily holding them to 79 points. I just want to see the Spurs win against their healthy squad. That's all.

Wrong got. The Spurs have the best Net Rating in the NBA got. Both offense and defense added up. Wrong again for s sake.

The spurs were forcing the warriors to play defense on every possession. The warriors season low points outing on offense is proof of that. Its part of the strategy.

If the warriors want to be better on offense, their gonna have to concede some buckets on D to save energy. Over the years the spurs have built stamina to do both with maximum energy and have learned to "grind it out" when the O isn't going well. Not sure of the warriors are ready to do that physically and mentally through a tough playoff series against a team like san Antonio. Is they do, them kudos, but that's why this matchup is not as one-sided as perceived.

    Yes or No?

Until you answer that question, this will be how I reply to you from now on.

at thinking SRS is reliable in this case.

If any Rube homer wants to put their money where their mouth is, I have an easy 100.00 you can win. If stains like Dabom want to gamble, the money will have to be escrowed with a reliable non-Krew member first.

The bet is: I have a (healthy) Warriors winning over a (healthy) Spurs in the playoffs.

So me not conforming to a homer opinion means I was "owned?"

No wonder no one listens to your podcast

    And predictably, "I don't bet "

Can't really use Bogut not playing as an excuse with TD only logging 8 minutes. TD would've played a lot more had Bogut played. Them missing Iggy was key though.
I'm not sure Iggy plays any better than Rush did, the mother er.

Iggy brings more value than scoring. It's like if Manu was out and Simmons scored 14-15 points. On paper, it looks like Simmons did Manu's "job," but we know that he really didn't.

Typical Spurs fans. The most accomplished franchise in sports the past two decades, in the midst of a historically great season themselves, yet still playing chicken little and bowing down to the others. What's worse, the head coach and various key players have this same at ude.

The way people analyze these two teams, if you didn't know better, you'd think the Warriors were the one with the pedigree and the Spurs were the upstarts.
