I keep seeing reviews that say people might need to see it a second time to grasp everything. That could be why the critics are so harsh
It will still be very successful...regardless of reviews. They did a great job marketing it and if Snyder does anything well its please popcorn movie goers.

Financially yes
But it's not good news for future DCEU movies
MOS sucked, BvS seems to be a flop ...
that stupid argument must be used by DC fanboys tbh
DC is taking risks making ty movies, not gritty ones.
Any guesses as to who wins the fight?
Oh right, neither.
I've heard the movie sucks but critics are usually dip s. Still, I hope that 90% of the movie isn't shot in the dark or isn't incredibly tastic like the Nolan movies. I don't know why directors are obsessed with making these types of films be always set at night. Maybe because it'll make it moredark and gritty and realistic
.
These new DC movies will be held up to the Dark Knight trilogy standards when s should be lucky we dont have to suffer through the nipple batsuit again.
Or when Nicolas Cage was supposed to play Superman. Or when Marlon Wayans was casted to play Robin. DC generally has a ty movie history like Marvel did before Iron Man.
It has nothing to do with the Nolan trilogy standards tbh
It's still possible to make a good, less grounded/more comic-y Batman movie.
But Snyder sucks
XMEN I think is what got the ball rolling for Marvel finally.
1978 Superman is one of my top 3 favorite super hero flicks. It holds up very well over time.
Well your wrong someone does win the fight. It's really not even close.
Reeves IS Kent/Spuperman
Nobody else comes close
Wonder Woman?
Chris pine
They're sheeple. The way they stand out is creative ways to criticize.
Zack Snyder
Eh, if all the movies were heavily slanted as either great or bad, maybe; but there are plenty of 50%RT movies to go around.
From what I hear he put the crowd in a sleeper hold heyo
He is not in the film, he is saving himself to be the big bad in the Justice League movie.
Damage Control
It's hard to remember the last comic book movie where critics took such delight in spitefully tearing it to shreds in the same way they have with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It doesn't deserve that, and in the video above, each of the main cast members provide some insightful thoughts into why. It's Henry Cavill who delivers the choice quote though, stating: "The interesting thing is that we get the critics who have their personal opinions. And the thing about personal opinions is that they always come from a place. And there’s a preconceived idea which you have to get past a critic before you start writing your article or your review, and that affects everything. What is really going to matter, I believe, is what the audience says. Because they’re the ones who are buying tickets, they’re the ones who want to see more of this kind of story or not and so the audience’s voice is loudest and after this weekend the audience, at least partly, will have spoken."
Ben Affleck didn't have anything to add to that and generally looks quite uncomfortable, something which is understandable when you consider the fact that some might perceive this as another Daredevil (despite him being hailed by many as the best big screen Batman to date). A somewhat dejected Zack Snyder meanwhile added: "I’m a comic book guy and I made the movie based as much as I could on that aesthetic. And so I don’t know how else to do it 100%, so it is what it is." What it is, is a comic book movie made by a comic book fan FOR comic book fans. Regardless, Amy Adams perhaps says it best: "If you’re interested in a film you should see it and form your own opinion rather than just going on the word of somebody [else]." So, don't take my word or anyone else's for it; just go watch Batman v Superman this weekend and let us know your thoughts when you do.
