I know this is not the format Chinook uses, will probably update this after the fact. Just wanted to record some impressions having watched him recently in a dleague game before they fade.

He's agile, very long and big. The game I watched, the Austin Spurs had Boban, Eddy Tavares on assignment from Atlanta, Nodye and Cady Lalanne, so they played big lineups all game. Ndoye played next to Tavares as a PF which was interesting. It seems they are trying to develop his shooting from the midrange, although it wasn't going in when I watched him. He had a nice couple of finishes around the basket, but what impresses about him is how agile he is for a guy that big and with such length. He's able to hedge out in the perimeter and recover, will come up with a steal or two, and is able to stay with wings to a degree and bc of that length, he discourages from shooting next to him.

He's very unpolished offensively and defensively although he has talent has to channel all of it, learning feet placement and such. Still we has impressive for the tools he has to defend well.

I will try to update this later if I have more on him.

Close enough. I'm glad there's a thread on him now. I really like his long-term potential. Don't like his age though. He's 16 months older than Bertans, to put it into perspective. Again, he reminds me of Baynes, or at least the way he was when he first came to the Spurs. Maybe a couple of years seasoning overseas can get similar results, as Ndoye really does have better defensive potential and similar offensive talents. Too bad the team won't have his rights.

    Thanks Chinook.
I may watch another dleague game from time to time, so if I have anything else, I just wanted a thread to keep track of him.
