While not a Christian or a believer in Jesus, I have no problems with all this. I see the impact Jesus makes on lives living with a Christian who is a major player at her church.

If all this is just something similiar to heroic fantasy like the Illiad and the Odyssey from Homer then it has to be the greatest stoty ever writen, and by far the most important. To me it's always been about just who did come up with the story of Jesus? Was that all he/she/they ever wrote? What an amazing imigination.

Jesus on the cross looking to the Heavens with..."forgive them Father for they know not what they do"....wow~~~ That's about as good as it gets.

The resurrection, Noah's ark, Samson and Deliah, David and Goliath, Daneil in the lions den, the tower of Babel, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Lucifer/Satan in the bowels of etc etc, who was this writer/writers?
