Awwww man. I loved that show. (Re runs) RIP
I didn't. It was too eclectic. And I was a little too young. "Kathy" brought a sense of adulthood to the creation. And the parents weren't (assholes)...rather they were accomplished and dedicated to their children and the children around their own.
At the time though, as in the 50 + years since her acting there was of superior quality. It was like two different actors. And it just wasn't her, it was the production as well. They took their time and put it in so it stood up then and every day since.
(They) done good.
I thought you were talking about Amy's mexican hot dog that made her lose her family..
Meet Cathy, who's lived most everywhere,
From Zanzibar to Barclay Square.
But Patty's only seen the sight.
A girl can see from Brooklyn Heights --
What a crazy pair!
But they're cousins,
Identical cousins all the way.
One pair of matching bookends,
Different as night and day.
Where Cathy adores a minuet,
The Ballet Russes, and crepe suzette,
Our Patty loves to rock and roll,
A hot dog makes her lose control --
What a wild duet!
Still, they're cousins,
Identical cousins and you'll find,
They laugh alike, they walk alike,
At times they even talk alike --
You can lose your mind,
When cousins are two of a kind.
word. It was aight. I used to watch it and Dobie Gillis.
I could not do "Gillis." Too clever. Too obtuse. Too B&W/needed color. The (talking to the camera) has never been a favorite of mine.
No, no Gillis, no.
Gilligan's Island. You were either a Mary Ann type or a Ginger type. Ok some of you here were a "professor" type.
Named you though. You reported right to Ellis with my invention.
tee, hee.
to each his own. I think I checked it out because it had Gilligan in it. But then stuck around to see if Tuesday Weld would show up.
