No. I'm a Spurs fan and I don't think that it's meaningless. If it was the Spurs in this situation I'd definitely want it. You don't get many opportunities in life to be the greatest of all-time at something. Somebody wins a ring every year. No team has ever won more than 72 games and lost only a single digit number of games. It's pretty damn meaningful, IMO.

Lakers lost to the 14 win Bulls both times that year... lost the first half of game 4 to Sacramento by 26 points... or 23, should have been 26 if not for that Shamaki Walker halfcourt 3 that clearly should not have counted... that series was about to be 3–1 heading back to Sacramento, if the Kings had held on then game 5 would have been a blowout win for the home team and the Kings would have steamrolled the Nets. Of course, we all know this.
