The reaction from Pop for Patty is amazing considering I rarely ever see Pop get off his seat to celebrate a play.go patty
looked identical to his reaction after the McDyess tip in at Staples against the Lakers in February 2011
Patty has some limitations because of his size, and he can be posted up or bullied by a bigger player--but he's dead game, quick, and no one on the team tries harder on defense.
Good on yer, Mate.
The Spurs were missing that against Dragic in their 2010 playoffs loss to the Suns. They also lacked Patty's firepower.
The defense and firepower the Spurs have added since then has been exceptional.
And it comes at a point in the game where the Spurs are up by 26.![]()
even Kyle got a high five from Pop last night.
Pop is not yet locked in like 2014, but he's been far better coach than his borderline non-nonchalant 2014/2015 campaign..
meh, I bet he was being sarcastic towards the refs as "At last you did your job and made the right call".
OP one of the good ones. Last year he kept making threads when RS Patty was playing bad after surgery. Playoff Patty showed up and I'm proud of that.![]()
Probably why Pop loved it so much. Patty giving it his all even when the game is over. Goes right into the Spurs mantra of never letting up and always playing hard.
This thread deserves another bump.![]()
Im going fishing for robdiaz
