Yes, a 3 point/penetration built offense is efficient on paper, but what DorkElvis doesn't get is that heavy 3 point shooting, even if shot relatively efficiently, is going to strain your fastbreak defense to a breaking point. 4-10 for 12 points from 3 is not "equal" to 6-10 for 12 points from 2 point shots. The latter gives your team 2 additional possession where they can get their defense set. Also worth noting is that jumpshooting teams don't get opposing teams in foul trouble very often, although he's lucky to have Harden and to an extent Dwight to do this occasionally.
