As a Spurs fan, you ain't out until you're out. Everyone is just a nowadays.![]()
Act like it, tbh... I know the Dubs are great, yada yada yada... the Spurs are pretty darned good themselves...

the spurs are a great team, the warriors are just better. its not a shameful thing to see, and being a blind homer isn't the definition of "acting like it"

But, real talk, some of the kobyz around here should carry on with their promises of identifying the viability of suicide, IMO
silver lining: we lose a home game here for first time in the season now better than we do in Game 5 vs Thunder or Warriors G3/G4..
IMO the spurs are not a great team not these.
No leader. Kawhi nor Lamar can take over games.
Obviously our old big 3 are too old to either.
Our only hope would be to win it all a ala 2014 spurs. But we are not playing a dysfunctional Heat. The worriers are the real deal. They are as good and on a roll as the 2011 Mavs imo
Meh, Warriors are the better team and will be heavy favorites in a series, doesn't mean the Spurs aren't great and have a puncher's chance if everything goes right..
No need to meltdown, just give them credit..the players probably don't care much, tbh..Pop and Bonner are probably having dinner..Danny's probably in a VIP booth right now..Parker's in his food truck on his phone, making sure the direct deposit of his nice contract came through..well, David West probably cares, gave up 12 mil, probably thinking last year's Warriors were a fluke..
The Warriors were going for this record, they want it, its actually a record that people will remember. On the flipside the Spurs took even more pressure off themselves, while the Golden State Warriors are now under immense pressure to win the le, more pressure possibly than any other team in NBA history. If they dont win the le it would be a colossal failure on all levels. I am actually happy the Spurs lost, I REALLY am, I went in hoping they would lose, and I didnt think the home record meant anywhere as much as the 73 wins does.
I know a lot of you are down right now but when the smoke clears you will realize this loss tonight was one of the best things that could have happened to the Spurs. They still might not beat the Warriors in the playoffs (they probably wont), but this result surely takes pressure off and puts the weight of the world on the Warriors (who have been playing playoff games for a month and have lost at home despite pushing for this record).
Exactly. I think this Spurs team will be underappreciated if they don't win it all, which is a real shame. They've been pretty ing good, Dubs notwithstanding...
True, I like to reference the 2013 finals though, that Heat team was the real deal (unlike 2014), and I know the Spurs lost but we all know how it went down. This staff is surely capable of pulling a big time upset.
Spurs are no greater than the Memphis Grizzlies were in 2013. They benefited from a weak ass schedule. This team is a 55-56 win team under normal conditions. Just calling a spade a spade.
Yeah, and we lost because those ing refs gave them like 12 points on cheap like that 3 pointer from Kiwi where there was no whistle, the clean LMA steal to Chimicurry, a cheap contact call were Chimi faked contact to have a new possession and a quick 3 pointer, the Kawhi block to Curry, a clean Boban block that gave them 2 points and shiet like that, fouls to Patty and all that contact BS they get a pass.
But what hurts me the most is all those idiots claiming this is the best team ever made, they can suck a 18 inch .
Refs saved them every game giving them boost and without them these posers are light 7 games easily.
Good luck losing yet another NBA Finals.![]()
Coasting, tbh...
Worriers record is inflated too. They played the Lolkers, injured Clips, Kings, and the weak ass Suns 4 times each. 16 free wins. Not even gonna mention their MVP, who wear whistles.
When the Spurs weren't resting anyone, they won.
