    remember when people where predicting that Kawhi would cap a great year by beasting over curry and cementing his DPOY repeat, if not mounting a dark horse MVP campaign?


    Is that dead? GSW did everything they needed to do to keep the hype train on full tilt. Do they sweep the awards?

    Maybe...i think he is going to slide in the MVP ranking (Lebron/KD might finish 2nd)) because a lack of signature game in those Warriors matchups and slight decline in shooting efficiency in the last couple of weeks..

    It doesn't matter if he loses the DPOY since he still doesn't get respect from the refs anyways. I thought once he won the DPOY the refs would give him more leeway on defense because usually they do that when a player wins that award but for Kawhi it hasn't happened.

    Kawhi lost the award at least 5 days ago. If you didn't read Stein from ESPN last week, the media already gave the DPOY to Green.

    As much as he has improved this season, he still have long way to go to come near Timmy "get-on-my-back-I'm-taking-us-home" big game performances when needed..

    Kawhi padded in garbage time with 5 extra points. Just take the L, bro. He was underwhelming tonight. I still have faith in him, but your boy Danny is going to have to start making shots so the in' paint opens up. All teams have to do is cheat off Danny to clog Kawhi's lanes/space.
