it is in difficult to repeat tbh..CL is more important than domestic league nowadays (more money)..just in this era, 2 other top 10 all time player like C.Ronaldo/Zidane couldn't do it..

didnt they change the rules, even if you win the CL, u dont get automatic qualification the following season

thats why teams also focus on the league season cup top 3-4 standings to qualify into that tournament or else u wont be defending and be force to play in europa cup where teams dont take it to serious since the prize money is jack ...

in some leagues, they have like 5-6 cups to play for
