He might, but at least there's no Chris Paul/Blake Griffin/Jordan/Re to help Barnes beat the Spurs.

We should have rested LMA as soon as he dislocated his finger. Immediately iced it right then, and then ice and heat for next few days.

Instead, we played him, in meaningless games. I can't tell you how stupid I think that was. Well, I could...lol

Spurs will sweep, winning each game by 15+. Danny will rediscover his 3-pt shot, TD will average a double-double. Parker will average 8 assists. Kawhi and LaMarcus will average 20 points a piece, and Boban will eat Lance Stephenson in the close out game for whispering in his ear.

What are the Vegas odds on this? Kawhi / LMA could miss the series and Spurs would still win it.

ing Dubs get the easiest possible matchup with the Rockets. If Howard weren't such a pussy, Bogut and Draymond would get banged up in that matchup. Easy sweep for them.

A lot of work to do this time around. OKC, Warriors and the Clippers could all give the Spurs problems. Won't be easy.

    Finally!

Not really into predictions. What I'm really interested in seeing is who plays and how the play. Pop seems to have used the season for a LOT of experimenting. Did he learn enough to come up with a solid game plan for the playoffs?

Like...how will our starting back court come out? Will Parker be aggressive or passive? Will Danny find his shot? How will Diaw play? Is Duncan gonna play a bigger role? So many questions...lol.

    Let the fun begin!

What a contrast vs. last year

2015 Clippers SRS: 4.35(#5 in the NBA)
2016 Grizzlies SRS: -2.05(#21 in the NBA)

This year's 5 seed is worse than last year's 8 seed by a decent margin, too..bye round for the top 4 seeds, barring injuries..
On a different note, the 2015 Rockets were a ty 2nd seed compared to this season (Spurs).

    '15 Rockets: SRS: 3.82 (7th of 30)
    '16 Spurs: SRS: 10.34 (1st of 30)

Much steeper drop off than Cripples/Grizz & that's the team the Duds faced in the WCF.

The Clippers are also a better 4th seed than last season's Grizz:

    '15 Grizz: SRS 3.62 (8th of 30)
    '16 Clips: SRS: 4.35 (5th of 30)

So, you're telling me the Grizz are tougher than the Rockets?

The Rockets beat OKC when WestBrick was trying to duel w/ Harden on national TV. When Harden is moving the ball & throwing bones to Dwight, they can beat any team on a given night especially when their 3s are falling ala the Cripples series.

Rounds 2 and 3 will definitely be much more challenging than last year..it's only the 1st round that will essentially be bye rounds for the top 4

There are some low IQ posters on this site. Memphis is far and away the worst team in the playoffs. They are D-league trash and if we dont sweep them we should be ing embarrassed.

I found this interesting. Just listened to Rob Perez's periscope video on his playoff predictions and he talked a lot about the spurs as he is a big fan of Kawhi and Boban.

Spurs over Grizzlies in 4 - he was joking that Lance could win a game with a triple double

He says Clippers are the only ones who can beat the Warriors. He doesn't think the Spurs will win the championship this year unfortunately. Spurs can't beat the Warriors because they don't matchup well and have trouble with their offense. Duncan and Aldridge cannot play together and predicts they might trade LMA next year. He said the spurs offense is a complete mess because they rely on Aldridge and Kawhi ISOs and have gone away from their motion offense from year's past. He also says it's painful to watch Duncan play now. Athleticism, scoring, guarding Splash brothers are a problem.

    Who the is Rob Perez?

I'm pretty sure it isn't the backcourt getting outscored 51-to-6

He also says it's painful to watch Duncan play now.
Painful on offense (same w/ April Dirk & Kriby shooting airballs) but leads the league DRPM

Athleticism, scoring, guarding Splash brothers are a problem.
    No shyts Sherlock.
