For everyone thrilled about this match-up (me included), will you still be happy about it when Matt Barnes or Tony Allen try to injure Kawhi and company?

I think we'll all be one cheap shot away from wishing we had played the Mavs instead.

Players like Zaza or Devin Harris could try the same . You can't avoid that kind of crap. Memphis is the easiest matchup because of their injuries, so I'd rather play them.

You heard of the term styles make fights? The Rockets play at a pace that falls into the Warriors' hands and they have the worst defense of any playoff team by far. The Grizz would be tougher for them because they play hard despite being undermanned and slow the pace down to a crawl. That said, the Grizz would likely get swept by the Dubs too but the games would be closer and they would leave the Dubs with some bruises.
Dummy, the Rockets were playing at a FAST pace LAST SEASON. This season, Dwight is actually HEALTHIER thus they can slow down the pace by posting him up. Plus, D-Mo (post-up threat) & Beverely(scrappy defender) weren't available for last season's series. (Capela is also more experienced)

The Grizz got blown the out in the postseason when Kerr stopped guarding Tony Allen. They don't have the soldiers to even make it a fight, let alone win a battler or the war. Meanwhile, the Rockets were a possession away from making it a 2-2 series even w/o D-Mo/Beverley & Dwight playing w/ a busted knee.

Curry/Draymond were also playing as well as this season in that Rockets so their improvement shouldn't be much of a difference, it really up to the Rockets playing as hard as last season to make it a series b/c they actually have a BETTER roster. (New additions, Beasley/KJ, should come in handy against the Duds small-ball lineups)

should be 4-0, but I guess it'll be 4-2 for the Spurs.

Wishing they had '09 Dwight all of a sudden. Very mobile and great rim protector.

Most likely loss (if there's going to be one) is the Sunday, April 24th game in Memphis at noon. It will be the most challenging because 1) It is an early game, and it seems Spurs don't do well in early games. 2) It will likely be a close out game, which can be tougher.

    Still, I predict a sweep.

Spurs in 3 (4 games, but only 3 quarters per game will be needed).

Dummy? Nah. The Rockets play at a faster pace this season compared to last when you compare the numbers and finished at the 7th fastest pace in the league. The Warriors feast on teams that play fast but don't play team defense. It's an incredibly easy matchup for them.

If you want to go that route, the Duds had a better DEFENSE last season thus the Rockets increased pace should cancel it out.

I think the biggest key to the series is Pop convincing Mike Conley to be our starting PG next season....
Moving forward with Conley and Boogie here, we just so spoilt.

Yeah glad we didn't end up against Dallas. They always seem to have it out for us in the playoffs, despite our last game we played them
