Nice. Thanks for the interesting stat.
I guess the "writing is on the wall" omen is on that list as well...
The NBA will WarrioREF the Spurs this year just like they ThundeREFed them in 2012.
Decent chance we'll tie or break that record.
I wouldn't be surprised if they preemptively ThunderREF them this year. Just to make sure that don't have to make those calls in a GSW/SA series. NBA would love Durant/Westbrook vs. GSW. Then Lebron vs. GSW.
Spurs gotta make sure they take care of OKC and not keep it close.
Good sign... and some fans still complain.

We could break that record in the course of finishing Memphis off.
If we actually play a good 48 minute game tomorrow, it will be another 25+ blowout.
So would they be #1 with 15 for just regular season since we're only 2 games into playoffs? Don't even know where stats like these are found tbh.
Stern isn't here anymore.
Might even break it this series
If we DON'T tie or break it this series, it ain't gonna happen. Frankly, I expect us to sweep Memphis, but not by 25 points in these two games on their home court.
Last 15 years 7 teams have won the Championship and 7 don't. Flip of a coin.
And yet Raymond will go in our ass in the WCFs....
Maybe the greatest team to not win a championship.
2012 spurs say Sup....
Are you an official warriors fan yet? Why not write this horse on their forum?
What about the average point winning margin? We were ahead of GSW most of the year and on track for a new NBA record. Did the last few games screw us out of that? That would be a more impressive record.
They finished the season ahead by .1
They lost their rookie big jarell martin who will need a follow-up surgery in a foot he injured last September. http://www.nba.com/grizzlies/news/ma...-update-160422
Memphis are just sad at this point. Not really an achievement to blow them out again, but if our guys bring their A game it's a likelihood. Though I don't expect our 3 pts shooting to hold so high.
We have been pretty lackadaisical in the first quarter of both games so far. I wouldn't be surprised to see us coast even more. Plus, even Memphis will play better in front of the home fans. Moreover, I don't expect Pop to flog a dead grizzly. My prediction is that we win these games by an average of +/- 15.
Saw that molly qerim chick on first take yesterday read a stat that said,"no team that won their first 2 playoff games by 25+ points has ever went on to win the le."
What a load of crap![]()
Good chart.
You were right. We barely skidded on this one and it required a monster game from Kawhi and Tony getting benched for a no PG lineup with Manu an TD only played 13 minutes. It's a guarantee at this point that Tim won't see minutes against the perimeter lineups.
