And averaging 2 steals, 1 block and just 0.7 turnovers. Good stuff by DG so far.

He's dribbling less and shooting more. Always a good thing.
Helping to win playoff games. From jumpers to jump balls.

The three that he hit running off a couple of screens (3:40 in the 4th on an out of bounds play) was great to see. That type of shot hasn't really been there all season long.
Hopefully hes just been waiting until the playoffs to get hot.
I'm happy to see Danny play better but it's hard not to be skeptical considering the level of compe ion in this series.
In the past we'd have taken our opponents focusing on Danny. Now we seem to think it's an issue if Danny struggles because of that focus. Danny is not the catalyst of this team's offense. That would be LMA and Kawhi still, and believe it or not, Tony Parker. Tony has to be able to attack the paint successfully a few times to get guys like Danny (who cannot dribble penetrate well) open looks. If teams want to focus on trying to stop LMA and Kawhi, Danny is going to have a field day.
With Danny shooting like , Spurs won 67 games and matched an NBA record for wins at home, losing just once to the probable champs this season in the AT&T center. If Danny can break out even a little, the Spurs are looking at the WCF, and if Steph's ankle flares up again, possibly the Finals.
his shot will only get better. He's returning back to himself.. he's almost back.
This the series has been great to grow our offensive confidence! All shooters need is to see the ball go in a few times to get on a hot streak.
That playoff on/off switch tbh![]()
Opponent dosent matter in greens case he gets wide open looks every game he just needs to knock them down.
Just like that jackass Robert Harry![]()
who cares? he gets scored on at will
Another basement dwelling moron.
Seems like his teammates are doing a better job of hitting him in his spots and making sure the passes are good. This should be good for his confidence going forward. The team's still not playing well, but if Danny and Patty are getting their mojo back as the team moves on, everything else has a better chance of falling into place.
He has missed open shots against bad teams all season.
An open 3 is an open 3, no matter who it's against. If he can hit that shot he's a threat on offense and the defense can't pack the paint.
but he gets a block and a steal each game... He must be good.
good games from Danny. Hopefully he continues playing well and aggressive with his shots.

his 2pt% is .200
3 pointers are not really related to opposition. maybe a small part, but memphis is good defensively.
My main concern is he has had the yips and whatever was plaguing him in the regular season doesn't apply to these games. I would put myself in the cautiously optimistic camp.
