Saw this last night. Pretty cool to hear from someone like ZBo. I also read a quote that Barnes called him a "monster." I never found a video to that interview, though

silent assassin...that moniker used to be attributed to Timmy.
Z Bo is honestly one of the more likeable guys in the league IMO, doesn't seem bitter at all like some would after a loss and gives credit where it's due.
I agree. The man's grown up a lot. I still remember him being one of the worst guys in the league during his early year, especially since he started out with the jailblazers.
Yep, no doubt. Some never seem to grow up, he has done a lot of maturing.
This is true. He's really become a good guy in the Memphis community too. I think I read he'll retire there when his playing days are done.
Always been a Z-Bo fan ever since Trailblazers, glad he got wise and eliminated the drama.
Zbo had at ude problems early in his career but hes.always been a talented dude with a lot of game. How is he "worst"![]()
Memphis' Alpha recognizing the other team Alpha. This is OG stuff![]()
Never imagined Kawhi would be the 3rd best player in the NBA, tbh, especially so early in his career..Apo and Dabom saw it from day 1, though.
Favorite Z-Bo video:
Cousins
Lol Cousins ain't bout that life!
And Robinson before him (well, he was more of a "gentleman's assassin" I guess).
Truly remarkable that one franchise brought in 3 two-way superstars in 3 consecutive generations. And all humble personality types.
That's the most unlikely trait they all share. Pretty remarkable.
1. Curry, 2. LeBron, 3. Kawhi
Can't believe how much this dude has grown as a player...the difference between where he was at a few years ago and where he's at now is just ridiculous. Scariest part is, he's still only 24. There's a realistic chance he's not even particularly close to his prime![]()
No, they (you) didn't.
It wouldn't be as much fun for them if they were the same person.

Or when he punched that white guy from Phoenix Suns.
Nobody at all could see it tbh, thought he was going to be good maybe and maybe an all star appearance one day at best... Finals MVP, DPOY back to back and MVP candidate, he is a lot better than most imagined.
wahahaha Zbo exposing the fake thug act of cousins
Maybe you should have read in between the lines? Mentioning ZBo growing up doesn't necessarily mean skills wise. Obviously, I was talking about his character and maturity. Sean Cagney got it, how couldn't you, when you claim to be a "smart poster"?

I always think of this play when I look back and see how far he has come.
