Hi everybody. I'm going to San Antonio next weekend from Bogota, Colombia. I'm planning to go to game 1 o game 2 against the thunder. I appreciate any advice about how to get the tickets. I was looking at the official page and they offer resale tickets. Is it my best option to get the tickets? Can I get the tickets before that the game be scheduled? Do I have any restriction to buy for my credit card address? If I buy the tickets for internet, is it safe the electronic ticket that they send to my email?

I'm staying a week in San Antonio and I want to know suggestions to spend the time there.

I'm a Spurs fan since 2.001 and it will be my first time in a Spurs game. I'm so anxious and excited. Hopefully they destroy Rusell and Co.

Thank you for your help and sorry for my English.

I second that, use Stubhub. I've found them to have better inventory and be more reasonably priced than Ticketmaster's resale market. Also, strongest guarantee that your ticket will actually work vs. buying from someone random at the stadium.

Not sure if AT&T Center allows for eTickets (scan from your phone), so you might need to print at your hotel or a FedEx or UPS store.

I used Uber from/to airport for meetings I had in San Antonio (now that it's back in town), and it's pretty cost effective and allows you to drink at the games. Parking isn't very expensive compared to other sporting events if you do want to drive. Wouldn't recommend mass transit - does it even exist down there?

I agree with Stubhub. Wait until about an hour before the game if able and get them on stubhub. I usually cut ticket prices in half when doing that.

We have a bus system, it honestly sucks though. Would be nice if we could eventually get a rail system going here. That is awhile down the road if it ever happens though.

Yes, but there's really no reason to rush. Tickets will go on sale on the Spurs website on Tuesday morning. There may not be much available and they may be restricted by the address on your credit card, but the tickets on the resale sites aren't going to sell out. Wait until Tuesday, or even until the schedule is known, and then compare the prices between Stubhub and the team's official resale site.

I have also had numerous successful transactions with Stubhub, but you can only be 100% certain that your ticket will be valid when buying from the official website. When you're coming from so far away, you may want to choose 100% security even at a small premium in price.

In the very unlikely chance that StubHub doesn't work (well <1%), you'll get a refund but given you're flying in for the game... official website is best.

Fine to wait on StubHub too. Just watch how many tickets are left and prices will fall if people are looking to dump. But if there's a ticket you want and few others in that section, grab it before it's gone.

Tickets on ticketmaster go on sale Tuesday, but I believe they only sale to only San Antonio residents. If they play OKC tickets are going to be pretty outrageous on third party websites I'm pretty sure. Hope you have a great time, and win both games you're down here.

Stubhub day of game and do instant download, will be cheaper. I recommend 100 level or lower. Stubhub charges fees on top and parking is $15 now

Saw the 2nd part of the post for recommendations. If you are going to stay somewhere downtown is probably the best from being able to get arpund more easily if you dont have a car. Everything depends on the budget, hotel valencia is nice. Theres a area near it called southtown which has alot of new resturants and bars. The pearl beewery has alot of resturants and is q cool spot, for italian I recommend il sogno. There is also a new hitel which is very expensive called hotel emma which would be cool to check out and apparently has a really nice bar. 1919 is a speakeasy type bar with good tails. If you have any specific things you are looking for let me know. You can use a ride service called lyft and uber to get around, if you signup for a account you can get free rides.

Spurs have kinda ed over season ticket holders trying to resell and stating that can only be resold through Ticketmaster. Could revoke your seats if caught selling elsewhere.

Whether or not they enforce, that I dont know. Policy started with the playoffs this year.

    So there is also that.

I think this is great advice. Tuesday when they go on sale at spurs.com compare to stubhub. Take your time and look at all the tickets. The resale is likely to jump from people trying to make a killing to people just asking what they are paying. So two seats in the same row could be substantially different. Have a great time! Look into getting an uber app for rides- they are like a taxi with private drivers and cars. Unless you rent a car.

My main worry is about the tickets. I thank everybody for their advise. I will wait for Tuesday to check the prices.

Do you have any recomendation for night life? What about a place to watch the other games from the series?
