Even if he comes back, doubt he's gonna be 100 percent. Then again, leave it to the clippers to screw this one up![]()
I have a feeling he will comeback a week earlier.

Well , Warriors prob beat the Clippers in 6 or 7 then, and Curry will likely be 80-90% by the WCF unless he reinjures it. The Spurs might have a shot against an 80% Curry though, which would essentially be 2015 Curry.
He's due to be back May 9th. If the Dubs series starts May 1 they will play 1st, 3rd, 6th, 9th in which he misses 3 games. If the Clips choke it will start May 3rd, they will play 3rd, 5th, 8th so if he comes back after 13 days he would only miss 2 games.
He probably misses Game 1 of the second round, and possibly Game 2.
Grade 1 is 1-2 weeks, not 2 weeks set in stone though.
, if there was ever a time to be a 4-seed, this is it.
Except for the fact that the Clippers series (assuming they advance) doesn't start for a whole week ... Saturday if both GSW/LAC win out, or Sunday/Monday if they don't. Per NBA calendar, supposed to start Monday, but can move up to Sat/Sun if needed.
I'd be very surprised if he missed more than a game in the 2nd round. , I don't even think he'll miss any. OKC pulled the same when Ibaka was supposed to be out for the playoffs![]()
How do you figure that? Round 2 will most likely begin on Saturday. If Curry is out for 2 weeks (which is the minimum recovery time for this injury), he could miss at least 4 games.
They'll Willis Reed his ass in Game 2, especially if the Dubs lose Game 1.
Kerr ain't Pop and doesn't have the clout to full on shut Curry down, as evidenced by him panicking and letting Steph play Game 4 tbh
I think if the Clips jump out to an early lead in the series, Curry comes back ASAP. That said, MCL sprains are crazy difficult to predict. The Ravens just has their first-rounder miss a season with an MCL sprain, an entire freaking season. Seeing as Steph has always had trouble with his legs, I'm not penciling in him being the MVP once he comes back. It could be like 2013 where he came back and played well only to re-injure it after getting pressured.
The minimum recovery time for a grade 1 MCL strain is about a week. I figure they'll be a little cautious and see if they can win Game 1 without him and if so will probably rest him in Game 2. Two weeks is probably a best case scenario.
If Kerr didn't have clout Curry would have played in Game 3.
Disagree tbh. They were up 2-0 at that point and sitting Curry to see if the Dubs could pull it out without him was a no-brainer. Game 4, fresh after a loss, was when the real decisions had to be made and Kerr got overruled IMO.
Playing Curry in Game 4 was a no-brainer since he was healthy, so they could try to get the series over with ASAP and get some rest for a tough series with the Clippers.
My sentiments exactly![]()
We'll see. If he comes back earlier than the 2 week timetable (which I fully expect he will), I'll take that as a sign of just how much ol Stevie Kerr has in the organization.
tbh, putting aside that it's in the best interest for the Spurs to have a hobbled Curry out there...I hope the Dubs are careful with this injury and don't end up Brandon Roy'n this ....he's a generational talent and I don't want anything to happen to him long term.
I think he misses both home games at least .. and i think it is at least Game 5 before he looks like himself. if Clips can at least steal one of the first two games and win game 3 at home ...dubs in trouble.
if he hasnt played yet ... Curry will definitely play in Game 4. Especially if they are down 2-1
Either way golden opportunity for the "point GOD" (per ESPN) to exert his will on Livingston ...if he doesnt absolutely dominate SL while Curry is resting he has failed.
Love what Livingston has done for his career but Paul should feast if cant he wasnt who we thought he was ...
yep..This is Pop and Timmy torn meniscus circa 2000 all over again (by coincidence a would-be repeat year as the Warriors)..Pop ended up winning the day, and another decade and half success for the franchise..

My guess for Curry is that he is going to comeback once the they are down 0-2/1-2 in the series vs Clippers..![]()

Funny scenario: Golden State intentionally extends their series w/ Houston, only for it to bite them in the ass. Eh, nevermind it's Houston.
