Only Hinkie's Sixers and the Kobe/Scott Lakers could out-tank the mentally defeated Rockets we're going to see in game 5, tbh![]()

I don't see Kerr and GSW taking this kind of risk tbh... they will want to finish Rockets asap imo. If 2 weeks is accurate that's 3 games max against Clips, they won't lose the 3 of them imo so a scenario with Curry back at 2-1 and finish 4-2 is quite realistic for them.
This is going to be like the Chris Paul situation last season when he sat out the first 2 games against the Rockets & was on minutes limits for Gm 3-4. The difference is that the Cripples didn't have homecourt thus hoped to steal a game then bring back Paul when the series moved to LA.
Assuming the Cripples finish the Blazers within 6 games, they MUST win one of the first 2 games at Oakland before Curry comes back for Gm 3 in LA. If they are down 2-0 then they will be demoralized & the Duds will go for the kill galvanized by Curry's return.
The Cripples almost lost to a beatup Spurs squad last season WITH homecourt advantage & blew a 3-1 lead to the sorry ass Rockets so I can't trust 'em especially w/ Blake/Re playing injured. They don't have a killer instinct even when they smell blood. They are like the Rockets w/ a higher Bball IQ.
Where do you guys get the dates for the upcoming rounds? I assume they are usually set, but just waiting for the teams to be determined that are playing? I'm not asking because of Curry or anything like that, I just want to know what days the Spurs are likely to play in the next round or two (if they get that far) so I can see how many of the games I'd be able to watch live (due to work).
Nothing official yet on dates. NBA will start all round 2 series by Monday/Tuesday per their annual calendar (just googled it) but if there's a dearth of games on Saturday/Sunday (no game 7s) they may push up a game to fill the weekend calendar and add an extra day or two of rest in between as another poster mentioned.
If OKC wins this game, pretty safe to assume Spurs will open at home this weekend.
I'm in the same boat as are many I suppose. Maybe if OKC advances tonight they'll release the schedule.
I was thinking Sunday, but I'm now leaning on Saturday. Thinking Sunday will be Lebron playing one for "The Land." Won't be surprised if they push GSW back as far as possible.

The second round of the playoffs is set to begin on May 2, although it can be moved up a day or two if those series wrap early. Similarly, the conference finals are set to begin on May 17, but could be moved up a day or two. Finally, the Finals are set to commence on June 2.
Update: he is almost sure going to miss 3 games of the next series (likely Port)..my guess is the Warriors won't throw out there him unless they are down 2-0 or 2-1 in the series..
I hope he rushes back and blows his knee out again
Lets hope Blazers test this pussy's glass ankles once he comes back, their regular season win against the Warriors should give them confidence.
These guys are tied with the Clippers minus Chris Paul, they have no chance of pushing Golden State at all. Clippers minus Chris Paul might as well be the Lakers.
Hey porkchop, Chris Paul has only been out 1 1/2 games.
Portland won them both.
They currently lead by 7 with 5 minutes left in Pauls 3rd game out.
