Even though I don't like Kasich, I'm hoping Trump chooses him and that he can bring Ohio. Trump should carry Florida - then concentrate on Pennsylvannia. Holding on to the "normal" red states might be difficult for Trump though
Has something like this happened before? I don't recall someone picking a VP candidate without actually getting the nomination first (in a non-open, non-contested convention).
cruz's chance was getting Rubio or Kasich on the ticket, forcing a convention and hoping for the best
