Yao does not belong in that group. Bynum/Oden/Howard are all brute force, Yao is finese. I am not saying he is a legend or anything, but Yao has some skills.

Damn, if I didn't already have the original CBS recordings I would have bought that in a second.
Olajuwon and Mchale remind me so much of Duncan in his first 10 years.
Here is another good deal...all the Spurs Finals wins (99, 03, 05, 07) for $40:

lakeshow isn't a rockets fan...
KBP is however..
This thread didn't take to long to get derailed, anyways young Hakeem was beasty.
Best SF to ever play the game. As much as I like LeBron, he'll never be Larry.
Ralph Sampson the bed in this series.
hakeems stat lines are incredible. surely the best post player ever. it seems duncan is the last in line of the great skilled post players, i dont see anyone out there today who can carry on the legacy of kareem/mchale/olajuwon/duncan
hakeem must roll over in his grave when he sees howard try to attempt a post up move.
the only one out there now is jefferson but man that guy is bad on defense.
Center.
Ralph Sampson was playing PF; hence why he played further from the basket than he wanted.
I loved watching Sichting and Walton beat Sampson's ass in Game 5. LOL at CBS not censoring Sampson's locker room interview after getting bodyslammed and ejected.![]()
I realize I'm responding to a post from almost a decade ago but what is he, a vampire? Hakeem is very much alive. His NBA grave maybe. Maybe his plaque at the Hall-of-Fame is rolling its eyes.
Calvin Murphy rolling in his grave watching Harden's bull game
Is that daughter rapist dead?
For all of the jokes y'all make about Hakeem, Murphy is the one you should go after about that type of stuff. And not only is he very much alive, he still is a studio analyst for the Rockets.
