Don't get all emotional on me...just stating what I believe will happen. Every franchise is due for an epic downfall, I give Spurs credit they know how to run a franchise. But your fan base greatly underestimates what is going to happen when rat face retires.
This can literally be said of any franchise lol. Nobody is good forever. Just look at the Lakers fall from glory. It happens fast and its ugly. Enjoy the ride while it lasts.

So you expect the spurs to be a lottery team next year if Duncan retires . Pop will stay on for at least a few more years since now he's doing team USA basketball. Spurs may not be le contenders every year but with the way things are set up with LMA and Kawhi they will be in the playoffs for several more years. If you want the Spurs to suffer you need to hope for Duncan,Pop,RC all to leave at the same time.

That is what it will take, Pop and RC to retire. This franchise's success is no longer tied to Duncan, and Pop ain't going anywhere for a while. It will happen eventually though.
