What I want in the 2nd half

-Start the third with Kawhi orchestrating the offense like in game 1, enough duncan parker pnr's please
-Bobo first off the bench over West.
    -No more boban
    -Kawhi shadowing Chuckbrook's minutes
Boban was fine tbh. The problem has been Manu on Westchimp and leaving Abaka wide open. Also Tim sadly.

Problem is you've given two of the best scorers good looks and confidence. Tough to slow them down when they're in the zone even with Wingstop.

As I called it at the start. Spurs in 6. No doubt in my mind at all whatsoever

Of course save a major injury

We got lucky with OKC turning the ball over so much. They had the Spurs D on its heels, then had 2 charges and a number of bad passes.

Spurs quick transition D has been poor.

Patty sucked out those 2 charges - that was big to stop OKC's momentum. He sucked out another offensive foul on Durant later, too. He deserves a lot of credit for that.

Timmy was rough that 1st half, as was Danny.

But I still feel like winning or losing this game will depend on Kawhi. He needs to give LMA that second punch. No excuses.

He was +6. So he may not have done anything, but if he can give Timmy some rest without being a negative I'll take it.

Thunder are getting any shot they want now, Spurs defense is just atrocious. LMA will not be able to shoot lights out and keep us in this forever.
Fouls have favored OKC tonight. Kawhi got hit with two well before halftime, and Pop yanked him to keep him from getting a potential third. That means Kawhi isn't on Westbrook, and Westbrook isn't bricking tonight. They've had a few open looks, but they're also turning the ball over plenty and hitting tough looks. With Kawhi and Danny only combining for 9 first half points, it's a miracle for OKC that they lead at all. Thunder came out tough and fast and the Spurs didn't wilt, despite still not getting what they need on offense. Spurs are gonna lose some games in this series, and I'm not saying they'll definitely beat OKC 4 times. But OKC played horribly and got ravaged in Game 1. The Spurs played horribly and trail by 3 in Game 2. Sorry, but OKC looks to be in a worse position than the Spurs.

    Boban didnt do man.

Boban looked lost at times, like he often does. But he didn't get victimized, other than that dunk by Adams. And the team was +6 while he was out there. So even if he didn't do a lot himself, he held down the fort well enough.

To win this Kawhi has to come on and score roughly 20. Either that or LMA will need to score 40+

It's just irritating to see the Spurs let Kanter get his way.

Is it too hard to avoid staring at the basket while he grabs an offensive rebound and scores?

Spurs need to get back to the discipline they showed in game 1.

When you see a guy look off the way Kawhi looks, a lot of times they announce after the game that he had flu or something. I hope that's not it. Kawhi only played 13 minutes, so he should be fresh. And he has 4 fouls to play with. We need him to catch fire in the second half.
Caught a shot of Kawhi on the bench staring at his shoes. Not a picture I have seen before. I hope he isn't under the weather.

I knew it would be a long game...when Danny took more shots than LMA or Kawhi in the first minutes.

Pop needs to stop making Manu defend Westbrook. He is killing Manu stamina and we might need him if parker keeps being useless on defense.

Durant/WB are on pace for 40+ minutes and they won't get as many fast break looks hopefully to get them going. They are going to face a more focused adjusted defense and a of a lot more Kawhi/Danny. They will wear down if the Spurs just execute on things like TO/REB.

What I'm seeing as well. As bad as the Spurs offense was in the beginning (nothing new, eh? lol)...we came back and took the lead. OK shoots themselves in the foot a lot. We'll be fine...imho

Parker has battled hard on defense. He hasn't had to defend WB, but he's been caught in some funky cross-matches and put in great effort.
