Getting humid.
18 to 1 second chance points kept this from being a 30 point beat down. Memphis hit an inordinate (for them) number of threes. Memphis was playing at their maximum efficiency and effort and still ran out of gas.
Plus the refs were blowing a lot of whistles against the Spurs last night.
The opponent in the next round (OKC) is not nearly as disciplined and not nearly as well coached as Memphis. The Spurs will get clean looks against OKC a lot more often.

The same stupid problems haven't went away, and it's more than obvious that game 1 was a Powerball winning fluke. Yet another 1st quarter slow start. Danny D-League Green still can't put two good games together in a row, Parker has turned into "Porker," and Kawhi looks less than dominant. At least Manu is showing some nut. And of course, "Praise be to thy LMA."

Game is still winnable, since the Thunder are notoriously awful in the 4th. I still think this is a great team, one of the best Spurs teams ever, but like always, I'm looking at the big picture. The Spurs scrapping out a win tonight (if it happens) doesn't just magically erase my concerns. If Danny could just shoot a consistent 38% from 3 every game, this is a different team. These 1-8 type of games just kill us. Porker being an offensive non-factor also kills us. We need consistent backcourt scoring in a bad, bad way.

yeah but you just act like UNT Eagles does with the constant nagging. playoffs will have tough games and aren't all going to go smoothly. not every player on the spurs is an all-nba player. they won with d-league green and patty house in 2014

Yep. His 3 point shooting really is the key. Just makes everything for the starting lineup so much easier. I know that's stating the obvious, but that's why it's so frustrating, because the solution is so simple and obvious.

No, not gutless, out classed. They wanted it more, they shot better, they didn't lose their cool, they're huge. I'd like to give credit to okc for turning the level of play up. You blow open shots in a game or two, fine, but so many games points to okc scaring our guys. We just don't have the right guys to win.
