Pretty sure Skelos isn't Jewish. Blaming the Jews for political corruption throws a veil over corruption.

Andrew Cuomo has such bad luck. Yesterday another close advisor went down on fraud charges:

Alain Kaloyeros, the former SUNY Polytechnic Ins ute president whom Gov. Andrew Cuomo tasked with overseeing his efforts to revitalize the upstate economy, was convicted Thursday along with three developers for rigging the bids for state-funded contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
A Manhattan federal jury found Kaloyeros, 62, guilty of two counts of wire fraud and one count of wire fraud conspiracy after two days of deliberation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for New York's Southern District.

Kaloyeros, who was once a key Cuomo ally and one of the state's highest-paid employees, was found guilty of crafting contract-bidding do ents to ensure lucrative, taxpayer-funded construction jobs went to two companies allied with Cuomo.
That included a $750 million contract to build a Tesla solar-panel manufacturing facilitythat is the centerpiece of the "Buffalo Billion," Cuomo's plan to boost the economy of the state's second-largest city.

The contract went to LPCiminelli, a Buffalo-based contractor whose former president, Louis Ciminelli, was also convicted of felonies Thursday along with Steven Aiello and Joseph Gerardi, executives with COR Development, a company that received $115 million in Syracuse-area jobs.

Kaloyeros and his co-defendants will face sentencing in October.
