Among the NBA candidates with whom the Rockets are working to set up interviews are former Phoenix Suns coach Jeff Hornacek and Charlotte Hornets assistant Stephen Silas, league sources said. There could be 10-15 – perhaps even more – candidates interviewed in the process, league sources said.

The Rockets are beginning to line up candidates in what promises to be a wide-ranging coaching search, league sources told The Vertical.
Houston owner Les Alexander and general manager Daryl Morey met with Bickerstaff on Tuesday, as well as Los Angeles Clippers assistant coach Sam Cassell and Houston assistant Chris Finch, league sources said.

sounds like the JVG buzz has died down..otherwise, he would have gotten the job by now, no?

Still could be his job. Though they prefer Vogel over JVG.

If JB Bickerstaff doesn't remain with the Rockets in any capacity he could join the Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff. Bickerstaff has a good relationship with newly hired coach Luke Walton. — Calvin Watkins

I am sooooooo glad my team is not ty like the Rockets or any of these coachless teams. I am not surprised at Bickerstaff's not wanting to come back. You have a ty me-first cancer player in Harden and just an atrocious human being in Howard leading the team and to top that off you have some incompetent piece of owner..and still none of this trumps being from Houston or having any sort of affiliation with that hole. I love watching that franchise rot, they thought they had it all a few years ago.. ing re s.

Once KD and Westbrook bolt that hole, maybe the Thunder can move back to the place they were stolen from. Then you won't have any team, but OU

The true beauty is a hole like OKC blessed with two probable Hall of Famers, and won't win with either.

Hornacek did a great job with the abortion of a roster he was given in Phoenix. I don't blame him for the Morris twins being gots, and he'd be a guy I'd want if I was Rocket fan.
