I thought ripping the ball from Kanter was really huge for Kawhi and for the team.
    We need more of that!

Adridge came back down to earth a bit and we still secured the win. very satisfying game!
Guy played a game high minutes. Probably wore him out after the first 2 monster games

they allowed ibaka, adams, and kanter to push and handcheck(which is illegal) . they're allowed to play physical with us, but we can't even have our jersey touch theirs on a drive

Great games by Kawhi and Tony, clutch with the FTs at the end. Nice to see someone step up when LMA wasn't having the best game. Also those rebounds and that dunk by Kawhi were huge. Props for Tony for also grabbing rebounds.

Love timmy but how come he gets no blame when he struggles but yall on Tony constantly?!
Tim doesn't FORCE anything, he plays within the system & is still an elite rim protector. There isn't much he could do about having two shot knees & doesn't pout when he gets benched.

Watch the replay. West was like 3 feet away from Westbrook when he took that shot.
It's OKC though, haven't you seen the they have called on the Spurs there since 2012.

I thought ripping the ball from Kanter was really huge for Kawhi and for the team.

That woke up the whole team. They looked like punching bags before that. He sent a message that they had to go and get it. It was the first time in the whole game that I thought the Spurs were going to win it. Kawhi changed their energy level.

34-20 FT edge for the Spurs at OKC.

Please shut up forever about "Thunder Refs."
Those are actual fouls!!! Most of the fouls on them were ing bull petty . Late in teh 4th, they gave them 3 straight bull fouls to try and get us in the bonus.

If that was an above average half for OKC turnovers wise they might be in trouble

ing jag off that guy. Hit the luckiest shot maybe in the history of the league.
Tim Duncan needs 4 more playoff wins to tie Derek Fisher for #1 all time. Good chance Tim gets there if the Spurs advance. He could have #1 all to himself if the Spurs lose the WCF in 7 or make the Finals.

    We need more of that!
And let's not forget that tough, contested offensive rebound with +/- 20 seconds left!

Man that game was intense. Great win and a little strange with both Tim and Manu not in the game at the end.
The Spurs need these hard fought games. Hopefully, they will help prepare them for the next hyper-athletic, quick-shooting team.

The Spurs were getting a lot of calls too. David West traveled on his last bucket for example.

Kawhi ripping the ball off Kanter was akin to CoJo dunking on Ibaka, tbh.

It was the first time since game 1 when we demonstrated the will and the ability to play them as physically as they have played us. We have to find a way to have that "nasty" on the defensive boards.
