Can't believe I missed this last night...
wow that's KKK level racism
disgusting
internet
I think Aldridge is giving hima ton of room not being particularly good with the help defense.
Kind of that LMA is in the middle of the ocean sometimes, not in position to help the defender on the penetration but still giving ibaka ton of room to shoot.
Seems to be "by design" as most in and out game from OKC is with him, probably we will adjust on him as a surprise on a close game later in the series, it is very obvious for pop and the team to not see that.
I'd like to add:
Jarrett Jack
Jason Terry
Josh Howard

Josh Howard was the real killer on those Mavs teams, tbh
Also Mirza Teletović.
But Terry was the puncher.
You realize ibaka shooting more threes and him playing defense can be mutually exclusive? His "decline has nothing to do with him shooting threes, and everything to do with the increase of small ball and stretch 4s across the league taking him out of the paint.
He's being left wide open. I don't know why people expect him to miss
The level of racism in this thread is ed up.
nah you're just soft
Not that high. The sixth, seventh and eighth man (along with Harden) inflicted the fatal blows in 2013.
Spurs are focusing on Westbrook and Durant and making the role players have to do enough to win. Ibaka's output is not that unexpected.
Like Charmin.
Yep..a 32% 3-point shooter shooting 59% from 3(on 5 attempts per game, too, crazy volume) in this series was totally expected

This. We will survive with him shooting a little bit better from 3, being completely wide open, but doubling his normal point output will not be good.
He's getting the looks. Have Westbrook and Durant dominated like in the regular season? Don't pretend there's not give and take.
Derek Fisher ranks first amongst Spurs killers tbh.... s the bed playing against anyone else, but against the Spurs he kills.... Even when he was coaching the Knicks.![]()
Exactly, he isn't nearly the paint presences on defense that he was 2 or 3 years ago. He seems to be a lot more selective going for blocks which is strange cause that intimidation factor was huge for him/them not too long ago.
The two greatest "Spurs killers" of all-time are easily Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki. After them it's a jumbled up group that includes Robert Horry (main reason why I hated him before '04), James Harden, Derek Fisher, Ray Allen, Bonzi Wells, Shaquille O'Neal and a few other players, IMO. Kobe and Dirk deserve the highest spots and most praise.

Thank the Oklahoma City Thunder for trading him to the East because this guy is still a nightmare to the Spurs.
