Five years ago, the Dallas Mavericks unleashed an asswhoopin' on the Lakers so fierce, their franchise has still not recovered. With all the talk about defending a le, the Lakers got SWEPT in a barrage of 3pt shots in the final game of the short series, on the day they were supposed to be showing love for their mothers. Instead, the Alpha Race's Übermensch known only as "Dirk" pushed Laker turd so far up Laker ass that the LA facade of a star limped into retirement for years after taking it out on his own franchise. This was the end of Andrew Bynum's career as we know it. It ushered the great Phil Jackson to the Tree of Woe and out of the NBA as a head coach for probably the final time in his life. It sent the mighty LA Lakers into such a tailspin that they haven't recovered even 5 years later. The Mavericks would go on to with the NBA le in one of the greatest tour-de-force shows the NBA has ever unleashed. The big German was unstoppable and many Heat, Spurs and Golden State fan owes a great deal to Dirk Nowitski.
The rest of the NBA West owes Dirk and that Mavs team a debt of gra ude for ousting that ty franchise. Indeed, the Purple Reign is over. (Purple Rain as well)
That day will forever be known here as the Mother's Day Massacre.
Raise your glasses, gents.
Damn the days when Dirk wasn't a cuck

So did yours fwiw.
You forgot to mention that the only comfort Lamar Odom could find after such a beat down was a crack rock.
The time the Mavs finally beat the Lakers when it mattered. Great moment in Mavs history. One of the greatest upsets in NBA history.
