He bricks open jumpers and can't box out on top of committing bonehead fouls. He's fine in limited minutes but he's not someone you ride with when the game is on the line.

Not a whole lot of option. The game was fast, would have been brutal for timmy. But yeah, cant rebound.
you have to give boban a look. Spurs are getting raped, west in particular, on the glass. His defense is terrible, his offense is negligible. Why go down on a sinking ship with west when you will AT LEAST get some crowd energy by playing boban.Who are you going to play instead?

If you are going to choose between Diaw and West. You choose West to close out the game. He gets pushed around but nowhere near as bad as Diaw has been this entire series.

It doesn't matter about getting torched. If west gives up second chance points every damn miss, then why does it matter if you get beat the first possession or the second? You play the energy guy when all else are equal. It's exactly why Spurs got beat in the first round by memphis in, what, 2011? At that time G. Hill was averaging the same amount of rebounds as McDyess.
