I believe all of Adams 5 field goals were a result the Spurs bigs (esp. Tim) hedging high all the way to the 3 point line.

Adams isn't a jump shooter & you want WestBrick to jackup jumpers so why in the would Pop direct the big to hedge high as if WestBrick is Curry? Maybe he's using the series as a scrimmage for the WCF otherwise it made ZERO sense to CONCEDE dunks as if it's the Amare/Nash PnR.

This along w/ switching West onto Durant in the 4th quarter was some grade school coaching by Pop; let's not even mention the Diaw/West frontline b/c that like beating a dead horse at this point.

i dont think they're hedging high out of fear for his jumper, they dont want to give him breathing room to accelerate to the basket, since westbrook is pretty unstoppable with a head of steam

It really feels like 2006 from a strategic perspective with Pop. Play a "twin towers" defense all season long with incredible/great results and then inexplicably drop that for gimmicks. Annoying....

Although, it should be noted that his rotation of big men isn'the his best (right now) beyond LaMarcus. And Timmy falling apart physically isn't helping matters.

Westbrook js actually a below average finisher on the rim so hedging even if he can run fast is pretty stupid.

yeah, when he's charging ahead he has almost no touch, so when he's exploding to the rim at full speed he blows a lot of layups. he does well in transition where he can use his body control, put on a hesitation move, etc. to control his speed

Why do the Spurs switch so easily?

Can't wait to watch Duncan/Aldridge guard Curry in the perimeter... Poop

I'll take a contested WestBrick layup over a freaking dunk. (Kawhi should just hold off Adams on the screen to avoid a lob)

Pop doesn't want KD to turn the corner & drive for a layup which is what happened early in the 3rd quarter when Danny was guarding him. Just put him on Kawhi Island & if he drops 40 tip your hat to him.
