Kyle & Mills, if passive like this stint are unplayable. However, Pop has no choice at the moment with the starters pulling the dud they did.
Pop needs to go medieval on their assess. Unacceptable. Lack of focus. Lack of energy. Passing up shots. West is at least taking shots & so is Boris - they just aren't hitting. All the other , especially getting beat to every loose ball, is unacceptable.
This team is at a crossroads. They have the remnants of the big 3 trying to coexist with the new blood big 2 and some role guys. The remnants are contaminating the system of the big 2, or vice versa. They haven't found a way to mesh and I'm not sure it's possible. Yeah they have a ton of RS wins together but when you shut down that PnR of Tony/LMA you do serious damage to the Spurs offense. Tim and Tony are so far from where they were at their peaks that they are liabilities at their positions, yet they get big time minutes in big games because of what they did in the past.
I am not sure the Spurs have the ability, short of a shooting outburst to turn the worm, to get out of the 2nd round alive.
