Normally, I don't blame the refs. But when two teams are going neck and neck, and only one team is allowed to get physical all game, you pretty heavily favor that one team. them
Outside of Green and Kawhi too much dead weight on the team and bricking open shot after open shot.
Never understood the argument of this being a top 3 or 4 Spur team all time as the league in general is very weak right now. We had our chances and blew it. It sucks but hopefully we can do something for Game 6.
2012 all over again

Why not blame the refs when they sucked hard.
We need more players get in their faces and intimidate them because unfortunately that is what works.
They have no fear calling fouls on the Spurs or no calling when the Spurs have the ball because they are generally left alone afterwards.
Game tied 90-90 with under a minute to play.
Adams trips Green who falls into Durant.
Foul on Green, 2 FTs for Durant.
But yeah don't blame the refs.
Refs were bad, but they weren't completely one sided. Spurs had a ton of chances to close it out, and quite frankly, choked and had poor clutch performance.
It's especially rough to watch as a long time spurs fan, a team that is known to be able to close out extremely well... being ing outdone in the clutch by the Thunder, ouch
Nah the refs had a lot to do with it.....I knew this was going to happen.....
ing exactly
If you can't beat a 2-man team shooting 20-48 from the field and turning the ball over 10 times AT HOME, then maybe it's best that OKC save you from a 4-game sweep next round
Westbrook made some big time plays after Kawhi's dunk gave the Spurs a 6 point lead. Credit where credit is due there. But the thunderrefs were in full display starting in the 3rd Qtr when the Spurs were threatening to pull away.
Unfortunately it doesn't ing matter to anyone except us.
I don't know what so say tbh. I'm having a 4th quarter spurs moment.

Spurs get called for the weakest all game. They go for an intentional foul, and they swallow their whistles. But instead, lets give Russ an and-1 on one fourth of that contact. you refs
Nah. Spurs missed plenty of shots that they should make, but they controlled OKC. It was only a game because of rebounding, some fluky shots and the refs with the refs having the biggest impact along with rebounding.
Spurs, playing exactly the same but with an even whistle are up double digits.
Dont forget the ghost foul called on West because Adams decided to fly and all kind of weird in our home, at some point Adams missed two freebies and then because life is marvelous refs decided Kanter should throw a couple because he deserves a chance... the excuse was some pathetic West thing.
Parker fouls were a joke.
Lots of charged to DG, and a ghost foul to Duncan blocking Rihanna.
can't help but read this as some condescending, self masturbation thread. You didn't see more than any of us did, the refs were bad both ways, bad in favor of OKC at the end.
worst part about this thread is that you're wrong
Gotta get more out of the bench, they were awful for the most part.
The offense was just pathetic down the stretch as well. 2 1/2 minutes without scoring a single point, LMA had two great looks that just missed and I forgot why Parker had to shoot that 3 but that was awful as well.
that, we could have finished all 3 of these losses better, but we shouldn't have to overcome 8 on 5 every game. is old.
Bench was just in complete deferring mode.
I don't understand why West wants to pass so much when OKC is giving him his signature jumper. Anderson doesn't do anything that even remotely contributes to the offense. Diaw tried to score but can't do much against OKC's 7 footers. Mills' confidence is just completely shot and Manu Ginobili is 38 years old.
Should have sprinkled in Boban and Simmons this game. Now they will be so out of rhythm for game 6, I don't know if they can even help.
I'm tired of people saying Spurs had their chances. Every play is a en chance, and the spurs made BIG plays. Why is it that the Spurs are the ones that have to play perfectly every en time to win a close game??
Can't believe they settled for a Parker jumper. I was screaming GET IT TO KAWHI!!!
This is a bad Thunder team (compared to previous playoff seasons) and they have you on the ropes. Just sad
People will talk about the 4th Qtr but I was going ape in the 3rd. They were in the bonus with 8 mins left on soft ass calls. Meanwhile LMA was literally getting shoved by Anus Cancer on the other end with no whistle.
Pop should've protested their BS to the poing of getting T'd up tbh.
Parker was wide open on TWO shots and Aldridge was WIDE OPEN 8 feet from the basket. I do think the officiating was frustrating but the Spurs got murdered on the boards, failed to attack the rim, only Kawhi was willing to do it, and Pop had some very very poor rotations (way too much West).
Thunder hit some very big shots, and they had players off the bench who actually knew there was a game tonight. I was never convinced the Spurs were the better team in this series. Too much dead weight and no idea who will consistently show up for us. It's the playoffs and this is the only Spur team I can recall that lacks iden y.
This. ing incredible how much refs us.
Because the world is full of idiots and they need to buy illusions like the one that OKC are gods and must win no matter what, even if they are not the better team so they can make mistakes and refs will say LETS GIVE THEM A CHANCE.
The rigging is the sad part of the NBA all that stupid entertainment thing.
The way they defended us was total crap, 5 fouls per drive and yet no calls, the idiots who think otherwise.
