Sad to say he was never the same after that shoulder injury. 2014 Patty never missed. Thanks for 2014, Patty, but it's time to move on.
Stats against OKC:
3.8ppg on .364 shooting
Rob Diaz called it. Should've kept CoJo. Would love to have a penetrator bout now.

probably the most overrated Spurs role player ever..there is a reason he was towel-waving from the bench half of his career..
RD2191 called this , tbh...
Idiots like this think the Spurs can play with five players next year. Please.....
Even a broken clock is correct twice a day. Sorry. Not buyin.
WTF are you even talking about, tbh? I never even said that. outta here with that bull .
Muh . And yes, yes I did.
Patty should be kept bc his contract isn't bad or anything and he's a good teammate. But he should be demoted from back up point, or traded for good value. Your comment suggested cutting him which is waste in value. You may have not meant cutting poatty for no return but it was a fair inference given the tone.
What really pisses me off is cutting RAY for Miller. I don't expect Ray to do jack this year, but next year? Having a second year guard compete with Patty for the backup spot? Now we pretty much have to pick up an outside guard or two since our developmental prospects are pretty slim.
Anyway, if ray was getting cut shouldn't andre provide something of value this year?
Anyone on the team minus Kawhi, Aldridge, and Danny aren't untouchable. I like Patty but why keep him around if he's already peaked and the Spurs backcourt desperately needs an upgrade? You can find many other posters saying the same .
Well Ray did get cut by the Grizzlies, so I don't he is no hot commodity around the league. Can always pick him in the offseason.
As for Patty, I still believe in him but he has no confidence. He had a great look at a 3 that went in and out. Had a few open jumpers and he passed on them. Pop needs to give him the green light to shoot if we don't have a third scorer next game.
McCallum was trash. CoJo was the real loss but it was out of the Spurs control at that point.
yeah, our budget is trash. but shouldn't we at least pick trash with upside and pick several trash prospects to try our luck? we went all in with Mills. we got burnt. Mills and Cojo had years in the system. Ray had 6 months.
Mills expiring contract this season could give the Spurs some value as a tradable asset.
That move made me think at the time of the retirement tour. Spurs don't normally let go that easily of a young project player. They at least give him a full season. Even Daye got a second season to find out if he could improve. Simmons is in a likelihood getting a second season too, so that was unusual. I thought Pop was all in this season. Letting go of Butler IMO wasn't easy either. They had liked him and Pop had relied on him in some games. I think Kmart was a letdown and I very much doubt he's retained. Depth was obviously a concern and Pop used the last games of the season to feed him minutes but he never caught on.
Dabom must eat a gigantic bowl of Dud Cereal every morning.
Should have let his useless ass after '14 and kept CoJo
I really like Patty - he was perfect for what SA needed before his shot disappeared. If the Spurs can flip him for something (preferably a draft pick) I would be happy.
Wasn't he good in Olympic play? Was that post surgery?
Since this thread was made, Mills has showed up -- in the regular season and playoffs alike-- like a human blimp, bringing nothing but "cultural" hot air....

Took over our starting role with no hitch. Kawhi going down wasn't his fault. Wtf??![]()
