Tony isn't going anywhere, but it's clear his role as starting PG in this league is pretty much over, and there's nothing wrong with that, tbh. He's aged and that's a position that's fairly dominant in the league right now (Chef, WB, Irving, CP3, etc).

That's why the Spurs should look for an upgrade and let Tony come off the bench and do his thing. This has nothing to do with Patty, who's been horrible himself in this particular series (he was actually not bad against the Grizz).

Thats garbage. When has there NOT been a long list of good point guards in the league? Its, by far, the deepest position in the league due to the fact that a much larger percentage of the human population will grow to between 6-6'4". Dont blame the rest of the league for Parker's ty play.

He's owed 30 million over the next two seasons and he's 33. The team deserves a much better performance.

When LamAlpha had those first two great games I knew it won't last... it happened to him with the Blazers too and he sucked the rest of the series...

That scenario isn't really possible, Parker's contract stops the team from upgrading.

Parker was the worst. For his shooting and his decisions.

Kawhi scored 9 points in the 2nd half in just a few shots...Just imagine if Parker decides to give him the ball when Kawhi's shooting over .57 FG% in a game, instead of looking for his own shot.
the whole roster was afraid to shoot bro... Kawhi on several occasions gave up the possession to Parker and basically was asking him to drive us home

all you want on him but dude was the only one last 5 minutes to take his responsabilities and Pop seemed to be clearly fine with that... at least he does not hide. If Kawhi was not happy he could have taken the ball and tell Parker to get the out of his way

this makes no sense. The point is that he's old and has a ton of miles, and his role should change to that of a PG coming off the bench due to that. When he was younger, he could hang with the elite at his position, but that time is past us.

Yep. Parker isn't scared. Those shots are frustrating and I want Kawhi to have the ball also but it's more on Pop than it is on Parker. Kawhi deferred multiple times at the end but Pops refusal to call time-out in crucial situations to MAKE SURE Kawhi and/or Aldridge get the ball where they can be effective is costing this team down the stretch. Can't fault Parker at all.

exactly but Parker is globally hated by this board so at the end he is the big pos of the story... easy way out for fans with fat agendas.

On one shot in the last 5 mn of the game Kawhi gave back the ball to Parker with like 3 sec left on the clock and told him basically "yo my man, figure out dat cauz going to the rim is too complicated" Parker misses and get insulted... smh

Normally Kawhi should not need Pop to call everything he should say I'm the boss, give me the ball and I will do the business

I'm advocating TP off the bench for a while tbh... problem is we have nobody to put on the starting line up so yeah time to get a PG for next year

    predictable

first step blame the refs, then blame pop and if you are not sure blame Parker

Parker out of LMA and Kawhi was the only one who played on the road, it did not had a good game last night but blaming him for the loss is upper tbh
Blaming Parker is the 1st step for me

    Nonsense. He's 33.

When Steve Nash was 33, he finished second in MVP voting (which would have been his third straight).

Then again, Steve Nash NEVER ATE SUGAR. He was actually 10 pounds lighter than when he was drafted.

Cant say the same thing for "Fat Tony" and its extremely unprofessional considering the lucrative "thank you" contract he was given by the Spurs. Classless to gain weight, play like and let the team down.

like you know about Parker and Spurs franchise.... nash and parker are not comparable dumb got... one is one best passing pg ever with reliable 3 pts the other made his career penetrating and finishing at the rim... and then again age and mileage are quite different concept... did not check but there is no way stevie at 33 had same mileage.

Then again, Nash won , never played a bit of defense in his career (and yes parker even if poor defender is a better defender than nash) and globally a loser. and don't start with your professional like his signing and at ude towards the Lakers is anything near professional... clown

Man, Parker looks finished. He can't get past anyone off the dribble. It is by DESIGN that the Thunder are allowing Parker to get wide open shots, he hasn't done anything special to separate himself. They look at him the way the spurs look at Cameron Payne or Rande Foye. They let Parker shoot because he is not a threat. They can't cover him up anymore on defense. LaMarcus and Kawhi deserve a better point guard who can get them the ball in better spots.

so he can miss wide open Js like he did in clutch time, last night? Those were the easiest shots he'll ever get..

posted this after tp scored 20 against the thunder in the regular season:
i don't even consider this a good game but a lot of you parker fans do cause you have such a low standard for PG play. it's fool's gold tbh... how many times has parker even scored 20 this season?
where's everyone who calls him mvparker?
