Dude would have been legend if, in response to, "Is the series over?" dude had said, "Down 3-2 heading to OKC for Game 6? Pretty much, yeah."

Yeah sleeping bear...knowing Pop hes proably just going to be more stubborn with his dwest-diaw.combo
good to see him pissed, but if Pop doesn't pull his head out of his ass, it won't matter.
I've a feeling a "funny looking player" is going to get "dusted off" out of "desperation" to "slow down" Kanter:
What am I thinking?!?!?! Carlisle doesn't coach the Spurs! When I heard that SBNation sites NBA-wide were being asked to determine what best defined "Comeback Day" for their favorite franchise only one thought came to my mind:
"It feels good to get into the second round."
Those were the immortal words uttered in 2003 playoffs by superstar Tracy McGrady after his eighth-seeded Orlando Magic went up 3-1 on the one-seeded Detroit Pistons. But a funny thing happened on the way to the second round. Or, more accurately, a funny-looking player by the name of Tayshaun Prince. Prince, an awkward, beanpole of a rookie out of the University of Kentucky who had played sparingly under head coach Rick Carlisle was summoned from the end of the bench, dusted off and asked to guard the Magic's best player and one of the most versatile and deadly scorers in the NBA.
The thought was that perhaps Prince's freakish length combined with his quickness might disrupt McGrady's rhythm. Really, Carlisle just wanted to slow McGrady down and give his team a chance. Frankly, he was desperate. When one more loss means your season is over coaches are willing to try just about anything.
(Pop won't unleash him until it's a 20 point game)
Pop drinks so much I doubt he'll remember this by tomorrow
Carlisle obviously doesn't believe in pounding that rock.
His heart is definitely in the right place, lets hope his mind catches up in time for tip off.
pops dic is big i know this for a fact
Thanks for sharing.
I can't say I know Pop enough or have watched the Spurs enough to know if he will go with the unconventional but at least he's as engaged as I expected to see him.
Dude did not have the balls tbh.
Pop will be Pop and Pop will things up with his ty line ups
Clippers were in the same boat last year (down 2-3 and headed to SA on the road) and won. If they can do it, we can too.
We need that bear scene from The Revenant.![]()
Tissot ball
LMA post up
TD playing token minutes
Diaw sleep walking to the fridge
Danny fouling a jump shooter
Bench in crickets mode
Spurs should've closed this out in five. I'm pissed.
Yeah, but if you had looked into the wheelhouse of the Clippers' ship last year, you would have seen a crew analyzing data and charting a course. If you took a peek in the cab of the Spurs' truck this year, you'd see this:

Pop is always pissed. Nothing to see here tbh.
Tim needs to play 35 minutes tonight. Vintage game hopefully. If he plays poorly that's ok, I want him on the court going down with the ship...
