Now this would be true Spurs basketball.
My official prediction:
SPURS 104
Thunder 90
LMA 25pts
Kawhi 20pts
Duncan 10pts
Parker 5pts 10 asst
Green 15pts
Patty 14pts 4/5 from 3pointers
Boban 4pts
Manu 7pts
Diaw 4pts
Spurs shock the OKC crowd and finally play like they wanted it. The bench scores over 30pts and we end up +1 on rebounds.
Now this would be true Spurs basketball.
Bunch of ing gots around here spurs win tonight and sunday golden state too.
Outside of game one every game has come down to the end, you could argue we should've won every game. So why is everyone acting like it's an ineveitable blowout. Even after 6 we gave ourselves a chance in game 7.
I'm not even concerened anymore. When the media and internet were complaining about our series with the Grizz being boring, I knew we were gonna get ed this round eventually. I'm not even gonna watch. We 're gonna get ed again, and then the nba will release a press statement about the bad calls as they always do and get their OKC/GS matchup they want. We're gonna go up by 10 or so and then they gonna put us in the bonus and allow them to beat us to death. All of u guys talking about, "we should attack the baakset". Why would a player keep driving the lane getting fouled when it's never called?
green shows up, kawhi shows up, manu shows up.
Looking for patty to be ready to shoot the 3.
My prediction--Aldridge misses a 3 footer at the buzzer to win while being hacked by Adams and Kanter, no call. Spurstalk goes crazy and the whinefest is on.
Can Boban be the 2nd big off the bench please?? No more west/diaw combo.
dude that made me laugh so hard... Whinefest

Spurs have never won by more than 5 in OKC in the playoffs. Would love it, but it's a long shot.

Backs against the wall, Spurs force game 7. I never give up on my team!
Like how you think but I think the game will be closer ....Spurs win by 5.....even with the refs cheating.
The team is not whom u need to be worried about, it's Silver's instructions
Go Spurs Go!!!!!!!!
I say just shoot the ball.....it goes in or it doesn't......But don't hesitate ....
especially if your name is Tim Duncan. Just. Keep. Shooting.
Funny, a lot of people on here who were confident the Spurs would win in 5. I knew there was no way the league would let this be over that quickly. So while I expected Stern Silver to Jew us with the officiating, I didn't expect it to be this egregious.
More Disheartening though has been Duncan looking rough and Pop's ing ego, per par.
Still I'll never count out champions like Duncan and the rest, even Pop might surprise me, so I'll stay true to my original instinct of
I expect a classic Spurs elimination game on the road, reminiscent of game 5 of the '08 WCF, game 6 of the '12 WCF, game 6 and 7 of the '13 Finals and game 7 of the '15 WCQF: They control the majority of the game, only to predictably progressively fade, have at least 75% of the 50/50 things not go their way and lose, in a close, if not heart breaking finish.
Close enough.
Bittersweet.
I said
That's why game 6 in '14 was so sweet.
Wow you guys nailed it.
