Everyone knows the Spurs crowd got soft after 03. Used to be like Oklahoma's crowd in the 80s, which was impressive in the pre-meth days tbh.

i dont care.... we are talking about fan noise at the present moment
For once, rascal's on point. The 80s crowds murder the current Spurs crowd. The only time the Spurs had a good crowd after leaving Hemisfair was 99-03.
This thead is bull . The Spurs crowd has been incredible these playoffs. Ask anyone whose been there.
I was at game one of Portland series and the crowd was awesome. Only a few people were eating Whataburgers.
Hemisfair was so loud my ears rang for 30 mins after each game, but I think that was due to the building being all cement with no acoustics
Maybe he meant not calling wades flop or not seeing Manu get smacked in the face. Or maybe the stupid asshole is still mad the celtics lost the lottery to draft Duncan.
Watch the replay lecramp tripped on Manus foot when Leonard got his 6th.
Couldn't even skip on the Whataburger for 2 and a half hours... Not even for possibly Timmy's last game smfh.
Allowed the refs to do whatever they wanted lmfao.
Nothing for them to cheer about, should be booing this team tbh...
unless kawhi is dunking or danny hitting three's we are pathetic
Fat Antonio, watch and witness how a real crowd supports their team in possibly their franchise player's last home game
I cant believe it bro..this is a 67 win team. And their staduims are always empty.
One of the largest cities in the country, literally everything large.... Almost got Kawhi outvoted by Zaza Pachulia's third world country of Georgia, where half the country doesn't even have access to the internet smfh.
is this the one topic everyone on spurstalk agrees with?
our crowd is embarrassingly bad. not ALWAYS, but definitely more often than not. especially when compared to other playoff crowds.
what would be awesome is if one game for every series... the lower level tickets were a flat rate of like, $60. first come, first serve. we'd have a real crowd that way tbh.
revolting stuff..hope they enjoy the coming mediocrity and the team gets moved to Seattle..
Tbqh. Hope they enjoy Rampage games.
San Antonio is one of the biggest cities in the country, but it has a relatively small metro area compared to a lot of cities that are supposedly smaller.
San Antonio has very few corporate headquarters, compared to other "big cities". Even the name sponsor of the arena is no longer headquartered in SA.
The NBA (as other professional sports) is rapidly pricing itself out of the range of many/most average people. Outside of the upper levels, a large portion of all the tickets sold are written off as a business expense - whether they are used for business entertaining or not.
The fans in SA are spoiled as . They have seen too many successful seasons, and don't bat an eye at 67 wins because they don't understand just what a big deal it is. That's the problem with attracting a bunch of bandwagon fans.
Pathetic,tbh..I have lost faith in them when those fatasses opted to stand in waiting lines for their churros rather than watch Tim in Duncan for his last home game..this is happening when are still a top 3 team with top 5 player in the NBA. Wait until we become Bucks West in 2020 when Pop retires and Kawhi demands a trade to one of LA teams..
What do you expect from a bunch of people who turn on the best PG in franchise history when he stops carrying them deep into the playoffs every year and starts shooting less like they all wanted?
