Possibly the best elimination game player in league history (either when his team is on the brink or to eliminate the other team).
40 years old, no knees, +22 for the series, will likely score over 20 points, and he's playing his heart out, trying to lead an improbable comeback that won't happen.
That's how an all-time great should go out. In the PLAYOFFS, putting it all on the line, win or lose.
Player of his generation just doing player of his generation thangs![]()
Good luck in the lottery, Kool![]()
*crickets chirping*
Duncan ends his career getting his blocked and falling hard on his ass![]()
Really hope he comes back. Still has it.
Too bad he sucked for the entire series except for 1 game
He had arguably one of the worst playoff runs for an all-time great
today's NBA tbh
"One of the best regular season teams of all time."

Jim averaged 4 points for the series...![]()
My god!!!
statpadding in garbage time
We're going to be hearing Broussard bragging for a while about being one of two to pick OKC
Still in the playoffs. Any all-time great worth a goes out in the post-season![]()
Can someone give me a side by side video comparison of Kobe vs Duncans last shot ?![]()
Congrats on a 67 win season![]()
Welcome back, Kool
Pretty ty that his supporting cast - namely Kawhi and LaMarsha - had their balls shrivel up when it mattered most when he carried so many ty players to rings.
Kawhi is a frontrunner. When things are going good, he capitalizes. But he ain't no Tim.
LaMarsha is alpha-dependent. When he's not the focus, he capitalizes. But he ain't no Tim.
Before the wheels fell off this year, Tim was the guy who alleviated the pressure. It let other guys flourish because they knew if the seas were rocky, he would right the ship. But at 40 years old, the ship sailed.
Props to #8.

Greatest winner of his generation, best franchise player of all time, never missed the playoffs, never quit on his team and widely regarded by the greatest basketball minds for being a top 6-7 player of all time.
What a career if it's over.....
Greatest player of his generation
He was the only net positive player over the series and fought to his last breath out there tonight.
