I was holding it in. I did see the vibe the teammates gave Manu as if it looked like he's ready to hang it up. As for Duncan, he looked really sad too. Man, I don't know what I'm going to do when they retire...

This has made Tim even hungrier.

He will be back and Spurs will be a top 2 favorite once again next year.

I think our small weaknesses, enlarged this series by Pop you could say, are rather obvious and with a few tweaks we'll be great again.

I would love for both Tim and Manu to be on board once again. They still make us better and you can't better than those two for less money.

Tim fought like a lion tonight. Like he did in every game of his career.

    Just LOVE him
    Me too. I cried

I just thought Manu had more of a retirement vibe about him when he fouled out, and I wouldn't be surprised if Tim hasn't made up his mind at all.

    Maybe none of them have?
Manu is retiring. He was frustrated. I think Timmy too. This was his retirement, farewell game. Being the player that he is he went swinging. I think Pop, everyone would gladly take him back though frankly he hasn't looked good for a long time and he had the 0 point 0 rebound games this season. Age has caught up. I'd like him as an assistant coach if he does retire and we might have a vacancy the way Messsina is getting interviews.

Hopefully if Timmy does decide that he still has something in the tank they dont go trying to convince Manu to come back as well.....

If Timmy wants to return and play 15 ish minutes a night on nights he can bring it, he can come back as long as he wants.

What the point? To come back only to another playoff dissepointment as this team will much likely collapse once again under the pressure...

Yup it is clear this is the younger players' team now. And if they don't have the testicles to win games and show up, it's unfair to put these two through it when they can no longer carry the burden they used to.

It sucks that Porker sabotaged Tim's last chance at a le for his own ego. That selfish got really can't stand seeing any of his teammates shine.
Sabotaged the team by being the #3 scorer on good shooting and dishing out more than double the assists of anyone else on the team. What a sabotage.

No farewell tour. Spurs moving forward. Like LMA said, not a bad season for his 1st year together with them. Expecting them to justify that RS record in the playoffs is naive and wishful thinking but that's en vogue here.

I don't think this is it. I can see him returning for 6 but in a reduced role ~10-15 minutes a night.

His defense is his only saving grace. It could all come down to that right knee.

Don't know why but the part that got me the most was seeing Nazr Mohammed call out to Timmy as he was turning and then seeing them hug. It was a reminder of all the great times, especially that epic 2005 le run.

I have been watching Tim for over 20 plus years since he was a sop re at WF but I was actually happy with the way he left the floor. The ending was perfect for the player he was. He got to play out the whole entire 4th quarter and I thought it was cool how Pop respected Tim by not taking him out because knowing Tim he wouldn't have wanted a standing ovation. At the end Duncan seemed genuinely happy and reflective and because of that I could be at peace with it. The OKC players all gave him respect and even the crowd did as he exited in the tunnel. I also thought it was cool how Tim acknowledged the fans as we walked in the tunnel. Besides losing the ending was great. I hope he retires because outside of this game he was terrible in this series.
