Losing in the second round is the same as missing the playoffs three years in a row and having absolutely no hope for any type of short term plan.

the result?Exactly the same. Yall packing your and going home. No one was injured, everyone was healthy. You have the DPOY, and the 2nd in MVP voting , probably the best post PF/C in LMA, surrounded by great role players and veterans, with a great coach... ing shameful. Lakers are still more relevant, will still be talked about more, and Kobe went out with the whole world bowing down to him. Jim on the other hand gets blown out at the hands of Durbeta and Chuckbrook.

Like Cub says, if you didn't win the le you're shining shoes with the rest of us.
It's a nice rationalization for being a fan of a lotto team.
Laker fans are getting desperate, IMO... Schafenfruede up the ass.
really shameful, what a stacked roster and the second round smh..
Of course it is. There were no meltdowns after our last game. You nigggas upstairs were crying...

TBH Kawhi is still really young and LMA is fairly young. The Spurs should be good for a few more years at winning 50 plus games. With that being said even losing in the playoffs is still better just for gaining experience and building chemistry. Look at the Mav's during the '00s they were a great regular season team that won a lot of regular season games but choked in the playoffs. Eventually that experience paved the way for them to finally win in '11.

This wasn't even really that much of a choke tbh... their lack of athleticism and age were exposed... and Westbrook/Durant is still a dynamic duo.
They were clearly outplayed, and melted down the stretch in the last 3 games.
By that definition it's still a choke but I get what you are saying. Even if it's not a choke it gives the spurs a snapshot of the direction they need to go into when it comes to retooling the roster.
Bend the knee and shine the shoes, Bum.
Its a choke because they were 67-15 with a historic marginal of victory and ended up losing.
but OKC is a very good team. 55-27 with a +7.3 differential, and their athleticism clearly exploited the Spurs... I think they can win 2 off the Warriors, tbh... but if they beat the Warriors I'd be shocked.

all that and to lose the the chucking thunder... especially TWICE at home? At home? Defend yourself Ghazi, and im not talking about missiles here.
ghazi, what you think of your boy Cuban chasing after Dwight?
Per ESPN ...
Most wins without making NBA Finals, per ESPN Stats and Information: 1972-73 Celtics (68-14), 2015-16 Spurs (67-15), 2006-07 Mavs (67-15)
Dwight wouldn't help the Mavs.. he might exalt us to 50 win territory but that guy simply is not a winner IMO.
Chandler/Dirk in 2011 would be better than aged Dirk and aged Dwight in 2017. Mavs are a dump these days.
Damn right, commissed ta shinin', SF.
No more big shots.
Manoshevitz. A complete & utter collapse.
I couldn't believe it was happening even as I was peeking thru my fingers at it.
You're gonna wear this, SF, for a long, long time.
You big mouths, spoutin' off constantly. Now look at ya, all jacked up in back, tags be all wrong.
LOL 17 wins and stuck with Fredo
I like how spurfan tries to spin this into how it wasnt a choke job![]()
Actually everyone has acknowledged it was a choke job.It has to be boring trying to troll when people actually agree with you.
woo, hoo. You lost.
tee, hee.
Fredo is in his last year. You're stuck with Lamarsha and Parker.
Still feels good.
